She stood on the rooftops of the city of London and as she looked out, she saw a crowd of crazy drunks, leering at a girl with almost a belt as a skirt. Their voices were loud, but she still heard him when he landed beside her.
"Scared I wasn't going to show?" He was mocking her. Oh, what a joy.
"Does it look like I care?" she retorted, fiercely. Another, older man stepped out of the shadows.
"People, we must not battle against each other, we must battle together-against the Beechermans. It is the only way."
The two bowed, and, as he had addressed them both, he expected some squabbling.
"But sir!" said the boy, "Katrini is merely a child!" and Katrini, who was the girl, sighed and said
"But why is it that I always get stuck with the weirdos? Like him," she pointed a finger at the boy.
"Halt with this childish nonsense!" yelled their master.
"Katrini, Michello, we will not have these meetings any longer if you keep on squabbling like babies!" Michello, who was the boy, and Katrini both bowed and apologised to their master. "Now, can we begin?"
"Of course sir." Both the boy and girl said in union.
"Well," began their master, "it appears that our enemies have found a loophole to our carefully structured plan." -There was a gasp from Katrini-"In three weeks exactly, this planet's moon will be its closest to this world since the beginning of time. We must find a way to stop this loophole becoming serious. And now is our time. It is now that we fight most for this world. It is now that if we lose, it is inevitable that we die." he placed a hand on both of them, and with that, they were gone. Their plans were safe. Or so they thought. Something moved, flickered. Then a Beecherman stepped out of the shadows, and into the moonlight. His skin was pale green, and an odd expression was on his face-it looked like it had pained him to step into the light. But however much it pained him, he still managed to smile. This was his time. This was how he would get known to the whole universe. This was how he was going to end the world...
