colbiWest, as i said, here the Story about Twilight i told you i was writing yesterday.
This short thanksgiving story takes place after the first book/movie, let's say, after the prom, so i think you won't be confuse by the plot.

Ah, almost forgotten... If someone else is reading this story, i don't have a Beta Reader and i will not going to find one, this story was written and fixed my myself, so don't insist. If you can't bear with my writing, than i say Good Bye.

A HUMAN HOLIDAY
Another Thanksgiving was approaching in the small town Forks and as the first time 17-year old Bella Swan spend the holyday there, she thought it very nice, as the small town really knew how to thrown a party.
This way, after spending a lonely Thanksgiving with her father, the clumsy teenager gathered some stuff and went to the meadow, in order to find Edward and show him something.
''whre you going?'' asked the sheriff angry
''I told you, I'm going to find Edward'' Bella said again
''well, don´t be late'' he said
''I won´t'' the daughter smiled and walk toward the door.

To her surprise then, she found him exactly where she thought he would be, sitting alone in some stone at the middle of the meadow, hiding from everyone.
''Hello Bella'' the friendly vampire smiled at her
''really, sometimes I have doubts if you really can´t read my thoughts. How you knew I was coming?''
''it was a strike of luck and you have an amazing smell, so, it´s easy for me to know when you would be coming'' he said
''well… thanks, anyway, I came to wish you a nice thanksgiving… you know what is a thanksgiving don't you?''
''yeah, we do know what is a thanksgiving, but we don´t celebrate it at all'' said Edward
''you should be thankful''
''for…'' the vampire was now confuse
''for live in a nice house, hunt animals instead of killing people… stuff like that'' the human said and in response, Edward chuckled ''I have something for you'' she said giving him a Tupperware.
''I told you, vampires can´t eat'' he said again a bit annoyed
''well, I know this, so I decided to innovate, mixed turkey and rice with a bit of chicken blood. Taste and tell me what you think'' the girl said and in response, Edward took a bite of the meal.
''so?''
''you´re right, it isn´t that bad when mixed with blood''
''cool'' Bella nodded taking a bite of her human version of the same food ''anyway, you need to tell me what are you thankful about''
''I was thinking…'' he started ''maybe you´re right, I should be thankful for not kill people and just hunt animals…but I think I should be thankful for more things''
''for not killed the whole school, or to have patience to going through it over and over?'' Bella teased him
''that too'' he agreed ''but I'm thankful for managed to control myself and find love, without hurt, the girl I'm in love with… on other words, I'm thankful for having met you Bella'' he said and the girl patted his shoulder.
"This way, i'm thankful as well, for having find the perfect guy ever to date. I'm also thankful for living with my dad for a while and for having great friends."
"Perfect guy" Edward mocked and upon hearing this, Bella raised an eyebrow annoyed
"why you ever disagree when i say you're perfect? Vampire or not, i think you're perfect "
"You're amazing just for call a monster perfect. And i'm a vampire Bella, it's my nature disagree with everything" Edward explain. "But i agree with something, it's the best thanksgiving of my existence" he said
"I'm glad to hear it. Happy thanksgiving Edward" Bella leaned her head on his cold shoulder
"You too Bella, you too" he said secretly thanking her for not wanting to be a vampire just yet.
