p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;"A/N: Well, I was browsing through the list of Chronicles of Narnia FanFiction, and I noticed a bunch of things that just didn't make sense to me. For the first time in several weeks, I got a brand new idea, which I just had to write out. The first draft was completed ten minutes after I got the though! Thanks to my long-suffering Narnia beta emWinged Flight/em for taking the time to find all those annoying grammatical points that I would have never found on my own. Make sure that you bookmark my blog and follow me on Twitter! Thanks for your time. ~ParableOfTheLastTok'ra~/p

p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;""Honestly!" the man spluttered, "The temporal consequences of allowing any such thing to occur would be enormous! It's bad enough that they lose fifteen years in a single moment, but some of these people are either stupid or stark raving mad!"/p
p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;"His companion rolled her eyes, offering her empty coffee mug to the waiting waitress. She took a long sip of the hot coffee, and waited for her friend to continue./p
p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;""Look at this one." The man pointed to the computer screen. "Here, a girl stumbles into Narnia through a wardrobe that has an uncanny resemblance to the wardrobe from the first book, and manages to end up in the same place at the exact same time. You know what's more? The main characters all were gone for merely a moment in our world, yet this girl leaves from more than half a century later, and can go to that exact moment! These people are so incredibly dull and stupid to assume such an event could occur!"/p
p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;"The woman wisely waited until the man had finished his rant before trying to give an explanation./p
p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;""You know, Simon, it's not all about theoretical physics. Fiction is meant to be the imagining of your dreams and desires. Sometimes your imagination will override any sense of the laws of nature."/p
p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;""That's all good and well, but why won't they just pay attention to what's real?" Simon cut in, before taking a rather large gulp of his own coffee./p
p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;""You just missed the point!" The woman laughed. "It's fiction. It's meant to pander to the inner muse, not to just make perfect sense. You have to keep in mind that it was intended as something of a fictional allegory to our own world. It's a beautiful one at that. Look at the characters. They all represent something within all of us. The way the characters have to learn to rely on Aslan mimics our own need for Christ. "/p
p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;""Spoken like a true philosopher." Simon grumbled. "If you spent just ten minutes trying to make a proof of these gigantic claims, your head would just roll off your shoulders and melt into the floor."/p
p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;""What happened to being all logical and making sense?" The woman teased. "If my head rolled off my shoulders…"/p
p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;""Oh, shush up, will you."/p
p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;"Each took a long sip of coffee./p
p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;""But seriously, Shannon, You don't have fifteen years go by in one second, and then make a millennium last a year! That's just…"/p
p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;""Shut up, Simon!"/p
