Author's note: Well, I'm formally known as BohemianTwinkle around here, but that wore off and now I've changed it to Barefoot Amore, why? Because I'm insane and barefoot love sounded terribly romantic in a very strange way last night at some equally terribly romantic in a strange way hour (midnight I believe) and I also have something against shoes. I don't like them - unless they're red and white. hooo.
Just a little poem about Christian and the Green Fairy. Makes no sense at all, much like my pen name.

Dedication: For Janice, who understands my shoeless characteristic - how else am I gonna be your forest nymph? Ever seen a nymph that wears shoes? Didn't think so.

Hello there,
I've seen you once before,
You haunt the corners of my wilting mind
A bouncing hallucination
Sinking into bloodstreams
Challenging my strength to carry on
The devil behind a mirage
A masquerade of thrilling twirls of green
And the words you say bruise and batter me
You bruise and batter me

Well hello, hello
My green fairy
Hello, hello
Come dance for me tonight

What is this?
A haunting space of time before death
Perhaps a completely different universe
Am I asleep and dreaming?
Are your fingers just eyelashes in my eyes?
And all you beats and rhythms
Are just the irregular aching beats
Of my heart as it carries on
And your eyes are just the stars as they burn out
The stars as they burn out

Well hello, hello
My green fairy
Hello, hello
Come and wake me up tonight

Goodbye now,
I can hear her calling
Wishing me to fall into a dream
Where she can kiss me better
And take me to a place all warm and free
Because when I wake I know you'll be here
Delighting in my sickness
Of drunkenness and too many peculiar thoughts
You know madness looks quite inviting
It looks quite inviting

Well hello, hello
My green fairy
Hello, hello
Come drive me mad tonight
