Marcus awakens to fingers gently caressing the scars on his wrists. He lays in silence watching her study the damage done to his flesh. The damage she blamed herself for. That broke and hurt more than the nails being driven had.

"Abby…' Her heads snaps up 'Sorry didn't mean to scare you."

"Did I wake you?"

"Yeah but it's fine. You need to let it go."

"I can't. I can't let any of it go."

"Abby yes you can. You are stronger than this. We all have moments and pain in our past that crumbles us and leave us nearly broken. And we keep going."

"I try. But than I see them' She runs her fingers across the risen skin again 'and the memories come rushing back. Same when I see Clarke and…" Her chin starts quiver and she tries to look away. He doesn't allow it.

"I don't blame you. She doesn't blame you."

"I should have been stronger. I should've said no."

"Than we'd have lost Raven. Abby Jaha wasn't going to stop. You know that."

"Still I should've…" The tears come out in sobs.

"It's okay. I promise it'll be okay." He scoots back on the bed and pulls her down against his frame and holds her while she continues to cry.

"I don't deser…"

"Yes you deserve this. Everything and more." Abby relaxes. The crying through and they drift back to sleep. Her fingers again over the scars.
