Hiding Place

"Oh my god, why are you in my shed?"

Harry blinked sheepishly up at the blonde man who just shouted in fear, his hand clutching at his chest.

"Erm… it's good hiding spot?"

"What are you hiding from?" the man asked, as Harry stood up. He seemed to be calming down, so Harry thought that he might get out of the situation without being hit with something. He eyed the garden shears nervously.

"Bill Weasley's kids. He lives across the way, you know," Harry added, gesturing half heartedly in the direction of Bill's house. "They wanted to play hide and seek, and I saw your shed door open a bit and… well. I probably should have thought it through a bit better."

The man nodded. "Probably," he agreed dryly.

"Um… sorry?"

"What's your name? I haven't seen you around here before."

"Harry."

"Ah. I'm Draco. Welcome to my shed."

Harry snorted. "It's a nice shed," he offered, running a hand through his already messy hair. "I really am sorry I gave you a fright."

Draco nodded. "It's alright. You probably only knocked about five years off my life expectancy after all."

Harry grinned. "I should, um, go. But it was nice to meet you."

Draco nodded, smiling wryly. "You too."

"Why are you in my shed again?"

"Kids didn't find me last time, did they?" Harry said, shrugging. "Besides, it's an open invitation if you're going to leave it open."

Draco laughed. "Is that right?"

Harry nodded. "Yep. So really, you can't be mad with me for hiding here. Besides, them kids are bloody tiring."

"Are you babysitting?"

Harry shook his head emphatically. "You don't really know me, but I can't keep a cactus alive. Do you really think I have any business babysitting? Bill has more sense."

Grinning, Draco picked up the shovel that was resting against the wall behind Harry, leaning close to him so he could reach it.

"Fair warning, I find you here again, I'm going to put you to work in my garden."

"Really? Again?"

Harry picked up the shovel. "What can I do to help?"
