A reader pm'ed me and proposed about writing a Kamen Rider x Yu-Gi-Oh! GX story with one of Tsurugi a.k.a Kamen Rider Odin's clones as main character alongside Jaden Yuki. He found my idea of Odin's 'Trick Vent' copies having their own personalities interesting and potential. He and I have discussed about this thoroughly and I agree to take his challenge.

This clone, Jin Mishida, uses my custom deck from Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force 3 with additional cards I chose from my YGOPRO deck and some based on Advent Cards. Don't worry, I won't make my character too OP. Jin basically knows nothing about Dueling and Duel Monsters, though I may let him win major of his duels. His main purpose in this story is to fight as Kamen Rider Odin, not a Duelist. He may be a little too 'perfect' for your tastes but I promise I won't make him Marty Stu.

Advent Card-based cards:

Goldphoenix (8/3000/2700): Cannot be targeted by effects, spells and traps. You can pay half of your LP to:
-Destroy all of your opponent's cards. If using this effect, this card will be sent to Graveyard at the end of your turn.

-Special Summon this card from Graveyard.

You can only activate one of this card's effects once per turn.

Survive (Magic Card): The moment this card is drawn, start counting Gold Counters. The Counters will lose if this card is sent to Graveyard or removed from play. This card can only used on Goldphoenix and it can only be activated when there is total 3 Gold Counters if faced down on the field, 6 Gold Counters if remained on your hand. Effect: Special Summon Divine Phoenix from your Extra Deck. This Summon cannot be stopped.

Divine Phoenix (12/4500/3900): Must be Special Summoned using Goldphoenix with Survive and cannot be summoned in any other ways. Unaffected by monster's effects, spells and traps and cannot be destroyed in battle. You can banish this card to return Survive to your hand and Special Summon Goldphoenix from your Graveyard or Side of Field.

Time Vent (Magic Card): Can only be activated when your LP is zero. Special Summon Goldphoenix from your Deck, Hand, Graveyard or Side of Field. If that monster is destroyed, you lose.

~Duel 1~

'Strange place…'

Jin said mentally as he checked his surroundings. He was inside a stadium of sort; there were people chatting and looking at him with anticipation. He felt a heavy feeling on his left arm and found that there was a strange device strapped on it, a triangular board and a slot with a thick deck of card. Subconsciously, he reached his pocket and took out a brownish rectangular with a golden bird symbol on the cover.

'The Odin Advent Deck! So I wasn't dreaming…'

"Examinee Mishida, if you have time admiring your personal thing, I suggest using it to prepare your Deck!" A harsh voice snapped Jin out of his thoughts. He turned at the source and saw a man in purple suit and a visor equipping the same device as his on her left arm. He looked irritated.

"Oh right, sorry." Jin said apologetically as he put away the Odin Advent Deck. He paused; just what the hell was he doing here?! As he searched for the answer in his brain, Jin felt a light and fast headache. A rush of information flooded his brain as he finally understood what was going on. He silently adjusted his Duel Disk before nodding at his examiner.

"Alright, let the test begin!" Both Jin and the Proctor activated their Disks and drew five cards.

""DUEL!""

Jin: 4000LP

Proctor: 4000LP

"My turn, draw. I summon Vorse Raider in Attack Position! I set 2 cards and end my turn." A menacing-looking warrior with an axe appeared on the field. Behind him, two face-down card holograms materialized. Jin announced his turn and drew, adding the new card to his hand. He scanned; Monster Reborn, Trap Hole, Luster Dragon, Prime Material Dragon, Magic Jammer and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon.

"I summon Luster Dragon and then banish it to special summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from my hand!"

Jin placed the Luster Dragon on the Disk Blade, let the hologram of the Dragon appear for few seconds before taking it away and replacing by the Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon card. A black portal appeared on the ground and the said dragon emerged and announced its presence with a mighty roar.

"I am not done yet! Using Darkness Metal Dragon's effect, I call out Prime Material Dragon!"

The Red-Eyes roared as the orange dragon with multiple wings appeared alongside with it. The spectators were awe at the sight of him summoning two powerful monsters in one turn. Jin pointed his finger at Vorse Raider.

"Red-Eyes, obliterate Vorse Raider! Infernal Mega Flare!"

"Hold it! I activate Negate Attack!"

As Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon opened its mouth and unleashed a devastating black flame at the warrior, a cyclone appeared and absorbed the blast. Jin let out a 'tch' before setting his Magic Jammer down and ending his turn. The proctor went to his draw and played Double Summon.

"I summon Rare Metal Dragon and with Double Summon, I tribute it and Vorse Raider to summon Dragonic Knight!"

The man showed the Rare Metal Dragon to Jin before sending it and the Vorse Raider to the Graveyard slot and placing the announced card on his Disk. A bright light enveloped the warrior on the field and engulfed it. Seconds later, a gigantic dragon in silver armor with a sword and a shield appeared.

"I attack your Prime Material Dragon with Dragonic Knight!"

"Tch!"

The dragon knight brought down its sword at his orange dragon. The latter let out a painful roar before shattering in pieces.

Jin: 3600LP

Proctor: 4000LP

"I end my turn."

"What do you think about that guy, Zane?"

"Hmm…"

Alexis Rhodes asked Zane Truesdale, her voice showing her interest. The latter continued observing the duel below.

"It's still too soon to judge. He has your brother's ace, thus he must have a good tactic. If not, let's say I am disappointed."

Alexis nodded, satisfied with the answer. Still, there was something bugging her. The Rhodes female swore that she saw a golden bird or something floating in the mirror behind that Mishida guy.

"I activate Pot of Greed and draw two more cards."

Jin's eyes widened at the cards he had just drawn. He quickly read the description on the particular one and grinned. He was too excited that he had to use his hand to hide his sickening laugh.

"What's wrong?" The proctor asked, raising his eyebrows. Jin quickly regained his composure and answered with a 'Nothing, sir'.

"I play Monster Reborn to bring back my Prime Material. And then, I use Darkness Metal Dragon to special summon Red-Eyes Wyvern from my hand."

Now there were three dragons on Jin's side. Before the proctor could say anything, Jin continued, the earlier grin returning.

"I will tribute both Prime Material Dragon and Wyvern to summon GOLDPHOENIX!"

"Oh man, I thought Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon was his ace. So that's his real one! It looks so cool!" Jaden Yuki and Syrus Truesdale exclaimed excitedly. Bastion Misawa made sure to observe this carefully in case he and Jin would face against each other in the future.

"That…That is the bird I saw earlier!" Alexis exclaimed, surprising Zane with her sudden outburst. The elder Truesdale turned his eyes back the field and watched the mechanical phoenix make its advent.

"Behold, the strongest Advent Beast! Now, by paying half of my LP, Goldphoenix will annihilate your entire field. Go, Blazing Explosion!"

The phoenix let out a cry as it engulfed itself in flame before crashing down at the proctor, taking all of his cards on the field with it.

"Now your field is empty. Darkness Metal Dragon, direct attack with Infernal Mega Flare before ending my turn!"

Jin: 1800LP

Proctor: 1200LP

The whole stadium was in uproar at the turning tide of the duel. The proctor grunted as he drew and summoned Celtic Guardian in defense position, set one card and ended his turn.

"My turn, draw!" Jin glanced at the card; Blue-Eyes White Dragon, perfect. "I now use Goldphoenix's another effect! By halving my LP again, I can special summon it from my Graveyard!" His LP dropped down. Jin's smirk crept wider. "Not yet! I use Darkness Metal's useful effect to call out BLUE-EYES WHITE DRAGON!"

"What?!"

The spectators were once again agitated at the announcement of Kaiba's legendary monster. A blazing portal opened on thin air and Goldphoenix reemerged. Next was Blue-Eyes White Dragon, which made a grand entrance by descending down from the sky and let out its trademark roar.

"Reverse Card open, Mirror Force!"

"Ah ah! Magic Jammer!" Jin sent his Trap Hole to Graveyard and flipped his Magic Jammer, cancelled the deflecting barrier and destroyed the card in process. "Infernal Mega Flare, Eternal Chaos and Horobi no Burst Stream!"

The combined blast wiped out the Celtic Guardian and then the Proctor's LP.

Jin: 1800LP

Proctor: 0LP

After hearing the congratulation from his examiner, Jin went to the waiting area but not before entering the toilet. He washed his face few times and let out a long breath. He looked at his reflection in the mirror and smiled when the Goldphoenix appeared.

"Hey buddy, nice finisher back there!" The Contact Beast beamed at Jin's remark and exited the mirror to rub its head at his cheeks. "Hey! Not so rough!"

After few minutes, Goldphoenix finally stopped. He laughed lightly as he patted the Contact Beast gently. Jin then remembered the question earlier.

"Ah hey buddy, you…have any ideas how the hell we ended up here?" The phoenix tilted its head in confusion. "Well, that was fun but…didn't we arrive at that place along with my other selves? The foreign memories rushing into my head earlier implied that we are in a parallel world of sort…Damn, this is so frustrating!"

Goldphoenix nodded several times in agreement with its 'partner'. Jin turned at it with a smile. "Nah, let's just enjoy our life, shall we? Maybe I can find something worth here." He glanced at his watch. "Ah crap, I need to go. Get back to the Mirror World buddy, I will call you later."
