It has been almost two years since I had completed my then-only Sonic & Amy collective, "The Blue and the Pink." Little did I know that the quotes to one of my poems, entitled here:

Just wait Sonic,
I will be faster than you.
I will be your equal.
I will be you,
You will be me.
We will be one.
-Pink Blur, part two

Refreshed with a new emulator, a new set of Sonic X shots, and a few stints with Sonic Advance, it was inevitable some more freewriting from this Sonamiholic was to be in order. Hence, I bring the first poem of, "The Pink and the Blue."

The Pink and the Blue
Poem 1:
Clairvoyance

Good things come to those who wait.

I wished upon a star
That I would fulfill
Our destiny.

Me as your equal,
You, me, one.
The happiness that surrounds
And binds.

A few years ago,
I never knew how to
Transform these
New red shoes
To twin rollerblades.

I've never tried rollerblades,
But I'm sure they are worth buying,
As it is worth buying time
To be with you.

I can use these shoes
To make it happen.
Make you, me, become one.
There can be a rail that goes
All the way to Area 53,
And I would get there in less than a minute.
I can take these shoes
And glide on. Glide on.
And I do.

I was born to run.
I could be at home one minute,
At your house the next,
Or in Mission Street,
Or in the Green Hills,
Or drowning in
Your self-imposed
Azure Blue World,
Lonely, cruising,
Wasting time.

Time that becomes valued
At the speed of grinding,
Every second is fuel
To make me go faster,
And the faster I go,
The more I want
To love you more.

The world is not enough.
Time is not enough.
Flowers, friends, lovers
Are not enough
Unless you make them become
Enough to satisfy.
So it is.

I don't need this hammer
That I wield
To protect myself.

I can spin jump,
I can dash,
I can become you,
And I don't find the difficulty in doing it.
I can't feel the difficulty.
And I won't fear the difficulty.

Through dashing, spinning, sliding on rails,
Making every nanosecond
Life or death,
I gain the confidence
To be my own person,
To be you while being me.

It the price to pay
For having fate determine fate,
Destiny determine destiny.
Clairvoyancy.

I've laid my cards, my future on your table.
Come. Let's run away.
