She stood, looking over Asgard. Hair flying wildly in the wind as she thought about the past.

She thought about his green eyes and mischievous smile, she thought about his lips on hers, and cried. She mourned for Loki. Yes, she knew he had allowed the Frost Giants to enter her home realm, and yes, she knew he was one too, but she had loved him. She had loved him with everything she had.

She began to walk, making her way towards the broken Bifrost. She walked to the edge, Heimdall, looked at her for a moment, but otherwise left her alone as she sat down staring into the vastness.

"Heimdall, can you see him? Anywhere?" Her melodic voice asked.

"No, I apologize, but he is lost to us all." Came the reply, and she sighed deeply. She asked the same question everyday, only to receive the same answer, time and time again.

She didn't cry, she never cried. But she mourned greatly.

She stood, thanking Heimdall before standing up, and slowly walking back along the bridge. Memories of her and Loki together flooding her mind...

~One Year Earlier~

She stood talking with a few others, a pair of arms wrapped around her, and the two of them disappeared, only to reappear in Loki's room.

She laughed as she turned to face him.

"I missed you." He kissed her lips, holding her close.

"You saw me but an hour ago!" She kissed him back and laughed again.

He smirked then shrugged. "I don't like you being away from me for so long."

She stared into his green eyes, smiling and trailing a finger down his cheek. "I love you." She whispered.

"I love you as well." Came his reply.

~Present~

For the first time, tears flooded her eyes.

Loki softly pulled her onto the bed with him, gently tugging her tunic off. She kissed him in reply, throwing his helmet across the room, earning a chuckle as he took his own top off.

They had consummated their love that night for the first time.

~Present~

As she cried, her walking slowed, and she laid a hand on her stomach, feeling the life within. The only thing she had left of Loki.

"Jump. Come to me." It was but a faint whisper, but her eyes widened as she heard it. She wasn't sure if it was real or no, but she turned and ran.

She ran back to the broken part of the bridge and before Heimdall could stop her, she thrust herself off the bridge, closing her eyes and flying through the great empty space.

When she opened her eyes, she was in his arms.

"You came." He smiled and kissed her.

She grinned. "I will never leave you."

And with those words, he helped her up, and together, hand-in-hand, they walked down a street on Earth. Neither caring what tomorrow was to bring, as long as they were together.
