She draped herself into a seat across from him, pouring some tea. "Nice glasses, Sosuke," she said mockingly.
"Why thank you, my dear," he said, nonplussed as he dropped into a seat across from her. The curtains were drawn and he had set a few subtle Kido wards, and besides it wasn't unheard of for him to work late. They wouldn't be disturbed. He took a deep sip from the cup as he eyed her appreciatively. "I find they rather help enhance my image. They make me seem so much more trustworthy than otherwise."
"How little they know," she smirked. "Especially that little girl of yours. Nervous little thing, isn't she? Or at least her zanpakuto spirit is..." She leaned on the table, her catlike chin resting on a long hand. "If I didn't know better, I'd be jealous."
"Ah, but you do know better," he said mildly.
"True," she purred, reaching across to delicately run a finger down his jaw. "You belong to me, Sosuke. You always have."
He didn't stop her, letting his eyes meet pale silver ones. "Does not the servant serve its master?" he answered neutrally.
"Truly," she said suggestively, sitting back and letting her dark hair fall around her smooth shoulders. "So what do you plan to do with her?"
He shrugged. "Cultivate her loyalty. She already admires me. It should be no great chore to turn it to adoration. She would already walk through fire if I commanded it. It will be...useful when the time comes."
Kyouka smiled, an expression that made her look remarkably like a cobra. "I'm sure it will." Her smile grew even wider. "But I want to drink her blood when you're finished. The taste of betrayal is so," she took another sip from the teacup, "enticing."
Aizen smirked at her again. "I do believe you are jealous, Kyouka."
Her smile slipped just a fraction. Real? An act? It was difficult to tell, with Kyouka. But either way, it quickly smoothed into a teasing grin. "You only wish I was, Sosuke-chan."
"As you say," he said neutrally, draining his tea. "Pardon my rudeness, but I'm afraid I have work to do tonight."
"Well, we wouldn't want the ever-diligent Aizen-taichou to be remiss, would we?" she teased. "Then I will bid you good night." She sauntered to his side and put her hand over his chest. "Play all you like, Sosuke," she murmured, "but never forget to whom your soul belongs." And with a mocking bow, she evaporated into smoke and his sword clanged to the floor.
