This is a mini sequel to Breaking the News. Enjoy

Ginny Weasley shot a stunning spell as the battle broke out again. Voldemort's snake was dead, and there was something about the slightly triumphant look on Ron and Hermione's face that unnerved her.

Ginny and Hermione started throwing spell's every which way. Luna, Hermione, and Ginny came face to face with Bellatrix. They started to duel furiously, Bellatrix only intent on killing the three of them. A flash of green just missed Ginny's ear-

"NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU BITCH!" (A/N: Go Mrs. Weasley! Whoo!) Bellatrix grinned as Mrs. Weasley ran up. They started dueling, neither of them looking away from their opponent.

Bellatrix was taunting Mrs. Weasley about Fred, and as Ginny threw another stunner, Bellatrix collapsed. She was dead.

Ginny watched in horror as Voldemort turned on her mother. Mrs. Weasley could do nothing to defend herself.

"Protego!" A loud yell echoed threw the hall, and an enormous shield broke between Mrs. Weasley and Voldemort.

Ginny screamed as Harry Potter, completely alive, threw off his Invisibility Cloak. Ginny didn't process much of what Harry was saying. She, as well as Ron and Hermione, were too busy staring at Harry in shock and awe to notice much more.

The pair circled each other like wolves. Voldemort's red eyes were slits, and as a dazzling light erupted above them, you could just hear the two shout their spells.

"Avada Kedavra!"

"Expelliarmus!"

The crowd watched as the Dark Lord lost his wand and tumbled to the ground, dead. There was silence, then screams. Crying, cheering, shouting. Ginny ran forward in an attempt to reach Harry. After most everybody had shouted themselves hoarse, they dispersed within the rest of the hall.

Ginny was sitting with her mother. Ginny wanted to go to Harry, who was surrounded by fervent admirer's, but was forced to sit with her mother while she grieved over the loss of Fred.

Ginny faintly heard Luna (who was sitting next to Harry) shout, "Look everyone, it's a Blibbering Humdinger!" (A/N: That's what she said, right?)

Ginny's boyfriend disappeared. Ten minutes later, Harry entered the hall once more. Ginny rushed to stand up. She sprinted towards Harry.

"Harry!"

She watched as he turned. His green eyes met hers and he broke into a smile as she approached.

"Ginny !"

A/N: Okay, that kinda sucked. I'm not sure if the dialogue was absolutely correct from the book, but I don't want to bother checking. Hope you enjoyed. Reviews most appreciated.
