Hush, Hush Little One

Lucy Weasley was the youngest Weasley of the Weasley/Potter bunch. As the youngest no one paid her much attention. They pushed her aside and hushed the "Little One". But the "Little One" has a secret. A secret that could ruin theirs. The ones they try to hide so hard but fail in doing so.

She knows Vicky hates the attention. That she dreams of running away to America, or Italy, or Spain. Running away to a place where she could dye her hair, changer her name, and disappear completely. And leaving everyone behind.

She knows Roxie pretends to be happy. The smile on the outside did not hide the pain that she held within. Roxie was strong; Lucy had to give her that. The problem was Roxie was strong for all the wrong reasons. She held on because she wanted everyone else to be happy. She gave up on her own happiness ages ago.

She knows Louis is not who he says he is. He isn't the "Player" or the "Sex God" most girls claim him to be. He doesn't want those titles. He just wants the girl who won't give him the time of day.

She knows Molly was hit. The way she acts around "Him" gives it away. The bruises and tears just enforce the idea. Lucy wishes more than anything to tell her sister he isn't worth it but she knows Molly won't listen. Molly is blinded by him and Lucy worried she always will be.

She knows Dom drinks too much. How everyone else turns a blind eye confuses her. Dom's drinking was no secret. Finding her passed out was no surprise. She was a party girl always was and she might always be that way. Oh how Lucy wishes she would realize her problem and be able to move on from it.

She knows James and Fred feel trapped. Trapped with the expectations thrust upon them all because of their names. She didn't blame them; she couldn't really. She knows she would feel trapped if she was named after dead war heroes, let alone war heroes who were family. James and Fred had no choice; it was either they become like the deceased or they disappoint those who are closest to them.

She knows Rosie is seeing him. The banned boy, the only one her father forbade from day one. But she loves him; Rosie truly loves him. She couldn't give him up even if she tried. And unlike with Molly, that banned boy loved her too.

She knows Albus hate quidditch. The problem was there was nothing left for him. James was the prankster and Lily was the future aurror. All he had was quidditch. The only thing left his parent would accept was quidditch.

She knows Lily likes him. She didn't care about age or even the fact he was married to her cousin. Teddy was hers and always had been. She had dibs; she liked him first. And he should like her; he could like her; he had to like her because she loved him.

And then there's her. She knows all the secrets but she won't tell because she is too afraid. Too afraid that telling will only make things worse. Worse for the people she loves most in the world. So she stays quiet, the "Little One" of the Weasley/Potter clan.
