A solitary figure stands by her window. A wistful smile graces her face as she looks out across a summer landscape marred only by beautiful ice-sculptures. Beautiful yes, but they don't belong... Like her.

Of course her sister Anna would immediately say different, she would state firmly that she did belong, she was her sister and best friend. Not to mention Queen of Arendelle...

Oh how she desperately wished this to be true. Her face falls as a warm wind blows softly through the open window. The smell of her cold creations carries on the breeze. It's summer, the people of her kingdom should be basking in the hot sun, eating cold treats and swimming in the crystal clear waters of the fjord, not wearing long sleeves and skating around on her rink of ice.

She clenches and un clenches her fists and the temperature seemed to drop a few degrees more.

It had only been about a month since she had accidentally frozen- then thawed Arendelle. Their little winter was nice she supposed, but didn't everyone need a change of weather? After all, what are seasons for? A few times she'd considered thawing everything and letting summer take back control of the land. But a little part of her was loathe to let go of it. The ice and snow was... Part of her. Well the citizens liked it? Right?

This morning's quiet session of self doubt ends as someone knocks on her door. Quickly she takes a deep breath and puts on a regal smile.

"Come in,"

"Elsa? A-are you in here?"

The woman in question turns away from the window. Her fake, regal smile relaxes into a real happy one as she sees her sister Anna standing in the doorway. "Hi! You're here! Good!" Anna says excitedly, "I want to give you something," she pulls out a flower crown of dandelions and plops it on Elsa's head. The lingering presence of sadness dissipates as Elsa adjusts the flower crown and hugs her sister. "Thank you, I love it Anna. How did you make it?"

Anna grins, "Olaf helped me find the flowers. It's surprising how hard it is to find flowers under all this snow even though its summer. Not that I don't like the snow! I love the snow, and I love you, and winter! Yeah..." Elsa's smile falters slightly. Anna was right, snow and ice had no place in summer. "...And so with a little help from Kristoff we made a whole bunch of them! Gosh does that man sure know his way around a flower crown," her face melts into a dreamy sort of look as she thinks about the man who could only be described as her true love.

Elsa takes her hand and pulls her out of her day dream. "Well, I suppose now is a good time to go get some breakfast. A couple of eggs and toast sound good?"

"I didn't know you liked eggs Else. Do you mind if i call you Else?" she pauses and when she receives a nod she squeezes Elsa's hand, "They're my favorite! I can eat them any way and they're de-licious!" Anna takes advantage of holding her sister's hand and drags her down the hallway. Elsa has grown more used to Anna's bubbly personality. And she loves it. How a person could be so happy and positive after eighteen years locked away in the castle she couldn't understand. Anna is nearly the opposite of her, with fiery red hair to match her energetic persona. Elsa subconsciously glances at her platinum blonde hair. While Anna has always been an optimist, she has always been more of a pessimist. Fearing the worst would happen. Her personality quite differed from her sister's. She was quiet and reserved, just like the good queen her parents had groomed her to be... Anyways, it was too early in the morning to be dwelling on such thoughts. Now was the time to enjoy her time with Anna over a nice, warm breakfast.
