A loud squeaky sound entered the blondes ears, just before the train came to a complete stop.
She awakes her friend, not bceuase of the train stopping in the tunnel, but because of what horrible thing stood infront of her.
neither had un-glued there eyes from the sight, Dawn was the first to speak, "The rat, has been tormented before dieing..." she feels tears brush against her pale skin, she forces them down and observes her friend who had his eyes glued to the horrific sight.
He turned to her, his eyes were welling up with tears, he looked away from her embarrased and both didn't hesitate to be escorted off the train.
unlike everyone else, who had carelessly walked over the rat, injuring it more, Dawn and B stayed behind and held the rats cold corpse in each-others hands, both knew how cold it was.
Dawn traced her fingers against the rats cold grey skin, tearing up once again, however this time she let them stream down her face.
you could hear her light sobs, echoing out, B shivered, as Dawn was placing the rats corpse in his hands.
he looked at it dearly, seeing how much it had been hurt, its ears were almost cut off.
Suddenly a honking sound was heard and both looked up to see a bright light, while B quickly moved out of the way, shouting for her to move, she, stayed there, her eyes were firmly closed she stood up straight, she lifted to the rat above her head, displaying the creature to the world.
The train came to her at an immense speed, she groaned as pain entered her body, twisting all around her, she fell to the ground with a thud, the rat fell on her stomach.
She watched it, dead was what it was.
she looked up at her friend, who held her hand, she suddenly felt pain flaring through her body, her head peacefully lowered to the ground, leaving a distarught friend crying.
Animals are made to die just like humans were Dawn's final thoughts before she slipped off from the world forever.
