Jenny watched as the reflection of the fire flicker on her wife's face, she loved these moments were it was just them. No Strax and his confusions over her gender, no need to hide their emotions. She continued repairing her mistress's dress, their adventures lead to a lot of combat on occasions, this being one of them.
When jenny looked up the lizard was now awake "is Strax not back yet?" she asked, rubbing sleep out of her eyes.
"Not yet ma'am." She watched as Vastra poured herself a small amount of blood from the jug on the small table across the room, she sat down watching her maid repair the dress. Jenny could feel blue eyes watching her, she blushed, how could her look affect her so?
"Sorry dear am I doing it again?" jenny sighed as she put down her work and pointedly gave a mock glare at Madame Vastra and crossed her arms. "How am I meant to concentrate when you watch me ma'am?" Vastra gave a loud laugh turning on the record player, making her way over her gently uncrossed jenny's arms and brought the human to her feet. Jenny knowingly brought her arms around her wife's neck and felt cool arms wrap around her waist.
They swayed to the soft music; Vastra unclipped her wife's hair and nuzzled her nose into her hair. "It really needs a cut." Vastra growled and she laughed at her mistress, the lizard always had a fascination with the human's hair- it was now half way down her arm.
"Strax may come any minute, you know?' Vastra laid a small kiss on jenny's forehead "let him come." she replied quickly, dipping her wife so that her brown hair touched the carpet as the lizard was about to kiss her wife
"BOY! WHERE ARE YOU? My coats stuck!" jenny fell to the floor with a yelp. "STRAX!" Vastra forgot about her wife on the floor and went to yell at the interrupting Sontaron. "Wait madam! VASTRA!" she ran making sure that her wife didn't kill the talking potato.
