So I'm writing this story down before publishing it to see how it goes, chapters well be of different sizes.
This is something new I'm trying, like a side story cause I have a block for the others, so tell me what you think of it.
I do not own Legend of Zelda.
"Link, Link wake up." After hearing the words of a fairy I once knew I slowly opened my eyes, reveling the same room I've have stayed in for the past 7 years.
Over the years I could easily see in the dark and damp room I've grown up in. Looking around to see if there were anything to eat, my jailers rarely sent food for me. "Ugh." I sighed deeply finding not even a rat. "Looks like I don't eat today." My stomach growled screaming for food but ignored it.
I looked around once more at the cell I was place in, skeletons hang on the wall being held together by the shackles and chains on the wrist. No moving sense the day they died. It's sad to say I knew one years ago. But he died and had to watch him decay into the bones that hugged the wall today.
"You're all bone now, ah buddy." I said directed at the skeleton but the silence makes me seem insane. "See that's what happen when you give your food away." I continued with this imaginative conversation. "Maybe I'm already insane?" I started to giggle at the fact that maybe I am.
The cell filled with my laughter was broken by the squeaking of the doorknob as it opened. In come a rather large muscular man with brown pants and a white shirt under a black apron. Blood splats on the right sleeve and the black apron didn't show blood but the light still glistened off it. He also wear a black rough sack over his head with two eye holes.
"Ernest is it that time already?" I seemed happy raising my arms for what looked like a hug.
The man Ernest was silent as he walked closer ignoring whatever the young man had to say. He brandished a wipe in his right hand he uncoiled slowly for a more dramatic effect.
Today's the day I thought, If he's gonna take his time with the beating then now's the time. I hold onto the chains as high as I could reach, pulling with all My might. The torturer now ready say this and must have thought the repeated attempts where foolish. Luckily he didn't know that I just spend all night chipping down the cement around it.
The first whipping much have brought the adrenaline with his. Ripped off one of the chains on the wall along with a chunk of concrete and I swung it into Ernest's skull. Surprising him he grabbed his head in pain not expecting the second one to collide with the other side of his face. Earnest feel hard fast first with a pool of blood forming underneath him.
Now freed from the wall I found the keys to my shackles looking once more at the grown man I had seen almost everyday. I felt sorrow for him as I brought my foot down at the back of his neck breaking his spine.
Leaving the cell I grow up in, I stopped to look back once more. It was never fun in here and I'll die before I come back. "Looks like I'll never see you again. Bye Ghirahim. I'll never forget you"
The palace I was in never really has any guards, a few that I've heard about on one of my failed escapes but I also know where I'm going. "Looks like he was wasn't wrong, I owe you again." The open room I was in had an enormous purple vortex in the center of it. The way to Hyrule was just through this portal.
"And where do you think you're going!" Came a loud yell above him on another level were the three beautiful goddesses. Skin like porcelain, paler then the moon. I say beauty not because I'm fond of them but that is how they would be described.
"You would think he would learn." Came from the other voice voice.
It looked like one of the Goddesses were holding up a barrier to stop me from entering. "Din, Nayru, Farore why don't we stop this now before this gets more out of hand." I raised both my hands to show I meant no harm.
"I know you are lying. I can see in your heart that you very much want to kill us." The smallest Goddess said, she wore a plain green dress while the other sisters wore their respective colors. One blue and the other red. Their hair too was matching them. Farore was green, short, and parted to the side a bit.
"This time we're going to break your legs. That will stop you from going anywhere." Din in the middle had unnatural hair as it rose up like it was fire.
"If you really think I would let myself get caught by you again then you're sadly mistaken." With a wave of my hand the barrier brook shocking all three.
"How did you do that?" Nayru asked holding her palm like it hurt. Nayru is the tallest, she had long straight hair that look like it was always dripping wet.
I jumped in laughing.
"No, that should be impossible." Nayru said in disbelief.
"He's gone, I have to send someone to capture him. I'll send my guards to hunt him down and bring him back." Said Din turning to leave the room.
"No Din. Wait for a while. I don't think this will go how he wants it to." Nayru said laughing lightly at the events playing out in her head.
As Link drifted through the rift between the two worlds. Link dared not move for even the slightest of movements could send him to a word that's not his own.
When the feeling of motion stopped and the feeling of a breeze hit my face. Opening my eyes the first thing I saw was the full moon and shinning stars laid out in the sky like a picture for me to see only. Trying to get up only hurt my legs but I needed to move. "I guess seven years of imprisonment has made me weaker." Searched around for a bit, getting an idea where I was. The Lost Woods, close to Kokiri Forest. I played here a lot when I was younger.
The village in ruin on monsters laid everywhere, most where asleep. Not to wake them I moved silently and quickly into my tree house. No monsters were in here.
Everything was the same as the day I left it, maybe more dusty but still untouched and unmoved. He found his bed clean and made. "Saria must have cleaned up after I left." Laying down on my own bed like the dreams I used to have. If I wake up this time, I might just kill myself.
What do you think? I love it.
If you don't know it's going to be about how link's shadow come to be. But it wasn't his fault but the goddesses.
tell me what you think so far.
