Grissom reached down and pulled Sara up. The y had been playing around near the pool on their way to the scene, when Sara slipped in.
"Gil Grissom!" she yelled. "You pushed me in the pool!"
"Sara, I didn't mean to. You know I wouldn't push you in." he said trying to stifle his laughter. Who knew that bringing her to this crime scene with him would have ended up so interesting or playful.
"Grissom, don't deny it, you pushed me in." she said beginning to shiver, as the cold night air settled against her wet skin.
"Ok, so maybe I kind of helped you in, but I didn't push you in." she gave him a blank stare before and smile grew upon her face. Grissom recognized the mischievous smile, and although he knew she was going to try something, he wasn't sure what.
It was then, that Sara leaped up and wrapped her arms around him in a big hug, her wet form clashing against his dry one, soaking him completely.
"Sara," he seemed to whine, although he loved being close to her.
Sara then pulled away slightly and stared up at him. She closed the gap between their mouths and kissed him softly and sweetly. Her lips lingered on him momentarily, then she pulled away. Another mischievous smile grew across her lips, and as she stepped back a bit further, Grissom could see what she was planning, but he was too late.
Sara's arms extended in front of her, and with all her might she pushed Grissom into the pool. She watched as he created a splash in the pool, and then laughed when he immerged with water running down his face and his curly locks of hair flattened to his head.
"Thank you, Sara Sidle, now neither of us can work the scene." he said trying hard to be serious.
"Ah, yes, but you know you don't care all that much. Now hurry up and get out so we can get to the lab and change, I'm cold." she said with a smile, "I'll be waiting in the car." she said before squatting down by the pool, leaning over and kissing him. "I'll be waiting." she said as she turned and left for the car.
Grissom couldn't help but smile and laugh. Sara had brought out a new side of him. A side that didn't fully revolve around work and allowed him to have fun. He then thought to him self about what Sara had done. Grissom smiled, realizing that he had been given the sweetest kiss.
The End
