Chapter One
I looked around my room. My room. I didn't have to share with other orphans no more, not that I was an orphan. My family never died, no-one believed me though. When I was 8 I was kidnapped by my first foster father. I was taken from my family and taken to a new country. Taken from America to Wales. He took me to an orphanage where I would stay for two months until he fostered me. He'd beat me and hurt me and I would never say a word, at least not until Genni found the bruises.
Genni was my care worker; she had been since before I can remember. Every foster family she had to do a background check on and make sure I was safe and happy. She was the only one who believed my story of how my family were still in America and that was where I once lived. It was actually Genni who recommended I applied to Dalton Academy for boys. Yes, for boys. In case you didn't notice I'm a girl, but anyway I'll tell you a bit about me.
My name is Sophia Jayne Hummel, daughter to Burt and Elizabeth Hummel and twin to Kurt Elizabeth Hummel. I am now 15 years old and have light blonde hair that falls to my waist. I have light blue eyes and a shy face, normally called a pretty one by most people. I'm extremely skinny, you may even say I'm anorexic, but I eat a lot. I generally wear dresses and skirts, but the odd pair of jeans or shorts now and then, with white or black flats. I wear a small amount of make up and a lot of jewellery.
Anyway, I was back at the orphanage when I saw the commercial for one girls place at Dalton Academy for Boys and they were coming around Britain looking for a girl who 'fit the bill'. The girl had to be a straight A student, which I was, musically talented, which I still am, and be able to board at Dalton. That was the tricky part. I had to beg Genni to let me go, but after I won the scholarship she was so proud she couldn't say no.
And that's what brought me to Dalton. I sat on my bed, kissed the locket around my neck and swore to myself I would find my family again.
A/N: I know it's short but the next one will be longer, just to clear some things up; Sophie is Kurt's twin sister. She doesn't know their mother is dead and this will be Klaine eventually.. The next chapter will be during "Never Been Kissed" when Kurt goes to Dalton so… yeah. Enjoy XD
