Josh sees Cammie with Zach and ponders a bit. Everything belongs to Ally Carter, except the places I made up for the fictional Roseville VA.
Josh looked over at Cammie and that boy, whats his face. It felt weird to look at her now. She had a boyfriend already. Funny he didn't even remember them breaking up completely.
It kind of hurt him in the middle. She was perfect in his mind. Not to thin, not to fat. She could easily blend into the crowd not noticeable to any one. He noticed her and she was his girl. His secret girlfriend. Then they went out of while until he drew a blank. That made him think they broke up that time.
Then he saw her in the Gallagher Academy uniform. Plaid skirt and dark blue almost black sweater vest, the one uniform that he never expected to see on her. She lied to him, that was the reason why they had the break up.
Now he wished they hadn't. He didn't like seeing her with another guy. Who ever he was, he didn't like him a bit. Sure the guy was tall, and good looking to her but when did that really happen. He stared at them while they kissed. When they walked down the street toward Lilly's Diner. Crud that was the same place he was going.
"Hi Josh," she heard her say to him. He smiled at her and looked at Zach.
"This is Zach, my boyfriend. Zach this is Josh, a friend of mine," Cammie said introducing them again.
"We have already meet," said Zach coldly. I went back to the kitchen to get my bus boy uniform leaving them. He could hear Cammie scold him and he smiled to himself. He peered out and found them kissing. Jealousy burned in his stomach and he head started to hurt. He really did miss her. Even if she lied. She did it for a good reason.
She was a gallagher girl. She introduced herself as a home school girl. She probably said that to keep him from thinking of her as a snob. Or a rich preppy girl that she clearly wasn't. If only they hadn't broken up.
