The Beginning of the End

A History of the Entwinement of the Wizarding and Muggle Worlds

The Muggle world and the Wizarding world are kept separate from each other in most countries except Australia. It's unique way of teaching the young wizards and witches how to simulate into the Muggle world should be made a standard practice internationally.

Unlike most countries Australia did not have a wizarding population. The native people known as Aborigines had a special shamanic magic. Free with their help to the intruders, this was one secret they jealously guarded from the new rivals of magic.

With so few other pureblood wizards and witches they were forced to breed with muggles to keep the line from getting too inbred. Here they learned to keep their craft a secret and integrate themselves in to the muggles world…

"Man. This is so the most boring thing I have written Fang." Stormy grey eyes blinked wearily at her small companion. A snort of amusement and a nod of ascent made the petite brunette smile. Carelessly throwing down her pen she impatiently pushed away from the exquisite ebony desk. Now she took time to explore the surrounds of the room she would call 'home' for the next two weeks.

A big bay window looked out onto a large beautiful garden just being touched by the pink, orange and golden hues of the rising sun. The sound of running water bubbling over rocks broke the silence. Turning away from the window she went back to exploring the room.

The main wall was a beautiful sparkling dark green surrounded by silvery grey walls. Black, silver and green were a prevalent theme in the room she noted. The exquisite furnishings were old and made of ebony. The bed itself was raised from the floor on a small platform. Four corner posts almost touched the ceiling of the room, heavy green drapes hung between, tied loosely between them. At the foot of the bed stood a delicate hand carved ebony chest decorated with silver snakes with emerald eyes. There dark green bedspread with silvery embroidery and matching pillows beckoned invitingly to the tired teen.

"Fang. It's time to sleep!" exclaimed the girl happily. Quickly stripping from her summery t-shirt and shorts into the green silk creations left for her use. With a whoop she jumped onto the bed landing heavily on her back. A soft thump landed neatly beside her head. Reaching up she scratched behind the grey ears making them droop slightly. A soft purring encouraged the girl on.

A light knock on the door sent Fang scurrying to the footboard of the bed hiding.

"Come in." sitting cross legged on the bed now, wary grey eyes stared at the entry door. A tall blonde man entered the room.

"Uncle."

"Kalian."

Dull green eyes looked up wearily into his friend's worried freckled face. "What?" he asked wearily in a flat emotionless voice.

"Harry. Mate. Are you all right?" the red headed Weasly boy asked.

"Ron!" Hermione scolded, brown head snapping up disapprovingly. "Leave Harry alone."

"I'm 'lright." Harry said slurring slightly. "Just tired." As if to emphasize the point he let out a bone cracking yawn.

Ron rested his arms lightly on the wooden Gryffindor table in the great hall. "Malfoys up to something. He's looking really smug." He pointed out eyes darting from Harry's worn face to the blonde Syltherin and back again.

Harry turned his head wearily to look at the blonde. Draco Malfoy look at Harry and gave the black haired 7th year one of his trademark smirks.

"Definitely up to no good." Hermione said nodding sagely.
