Just some information... For this One-Shot to work the way I planned, I had to change something. In this, Link is a descendent of the Hero of Time from OOT.

Hope you enjoy! This is my first comedy-type story, so forgive me if it's not funny.

It was a peaceful day in the field of Hyrule. Well, not peaceful exactly. Link was having to fight many enemies just to keep himself and Midna alive. Midna was already a bit angry because it had been a long time since they got a Fused Shadow. She was getting impatient. After successfully fending off an enemy in shining armor, Link put his sword back in its sheath, putting the shield back on over it.

Midna told him, "You should probably just keep that stuff out. I can tell there is going to be more."

Link responded, "It'll be fine. If I can't handle a few guys, then how are we supposed to get the Fused Shadows?"

Midna knew he was right. "True."

"Hello?"

Link slapped his forehead and said, "No... Not Navi again..."

"Who's Navi?" Midna asked.

"A fairy that assisted my ancestor in saving Hyrule. I've heard that she's really annoying."

"Oh... great."

Navi, the blue fairy, flew up to Link and excalimed, "Hello!"

"Yea, hi Navi."

"Hey!" Navi turned to Midna.

Midna waved, not giving a smile. That was pretty common for the imp princess. Link said, "Just ignore her and she might go away."

"Arrgh!" Another enemy appeared, challenging Link.

Link groaned, pulled out his sword and shield and said, "I'll be right back."

He walked off to fight the enemy, leaving Midna alone with Navi.

Navi said, "Hey!"

Midna sat in silence.

Navi said, "Hello?"

Midna ignored her, already getting a bit agitated at this point.

"Hello? Hey! Listen!"

Midna finally snapped her head to Navi and yelled, "What!"

Out of nowhere, Midna was hit in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground. Midna turned over on her back and saw that an enemy in armor had hit her. Link quietly came up behind the guy and stabbed him in the back, turning him in to black smoke and disappearing.

Navi said, "Watch out!"

Midna was rubbing her head as she glared at Navi.

Link put away his sword and shield before asking, "You okay, Midna?"

"I think so."

"You need a potion?"

"No. Besides, we need to save the potions for you."

"Just making sure..." Link stood up, and turned to Navi, "What are you doing here?"

"I was supposed to help you on your journey."

Midna groaned and said, "No way! You've been here for all of two minutes and almost got me killed!"

"I told you to watch out!"

"Yea. After I was hit! If you hadn't been annoying me, I would have seen the attack coming and dodged it!"

"Hey!"

Midna leaned over to Link and whispered, "I really hate Navi..."

Link whispered back, "Now you know how my ancestor must have felt."
