Percy POV
I was guarding the borders and then I saw a girl walk up to me, she had green eyes and black hair and she whimpered 'help me', then she collapsed. I looked behind her and i saw the Minotaur; the first monster I had conquered. I pulled the girl into the borders so that the minotaur wouldn't injure her even further. I could tell that the girl, was on the verge of death. I called over Chiron and we carried her to the hospital.
After a few days the girl started to gain consciousness and she opened her eyes. I asked for her name and she said' My name is Crystal Summers, and what the hell happened to my arm?' She gestured over to her arm and I saw that she had a cut across the whole length of her arm, the cut was seeping some green liquid and I realised that whatever wounded her was poisonous. I ran talked to Chiron about it and he asked Grover to take care of it. By the time we got back, Crystal was fast asleep. She was breathing heavily and she had a layer of sweat cover her forehead. Oh well, at least her arm was looking better.
A week later the girl was moved to the Hermes cabin, where most unclaimed demigods go. It was morning and I looked out to the sea and Crystal was there, walking across the sand. I walked up to her and introduced myself, 'My name is Percy Jackson' She nodded and said she already knew that. The satyr that was tending to her arm told all her about me. I looked down at the water, which was splashing on our feet, then I realised something was strange, her shoes weren't wet at all. I asked her about this and she just shrugged her shoulders. 'It's always been like this so I have no restrictions against the sea'. I nodded and said that we should get back to the dining area if we wanted to make it in time for breakfast. She just started to walk back to the dining area in silence. I rubbed the back of my neck, 'Man this was awkward', I thought and to my surprise she replied in my head 'I know that, you don't need to say it ' I looked up at her and she just kept on walking. We reached the dining area and Clarisse walked up to Crystal an said,'Ohhh, look we have a new half-blood here. Shall we give her a little initiation?' She smiled sweetly and said,'Oh, there's no need to give me initiation. I can handle it myself' . Clarisse's eyes started to glow;'Oh, is that so?' She grabbed Crystal's wrist but Crystal just flicked her hand off like she was a bug. 'Don't touch me.' Crystal's eyes burned brighter than Clarisse's. And Clarisse was like 'Are you trying to pick with me, girlie?' ' So what is I am?' At this moment, all the eyes were on Crystal and Clarisse. Then to everyone's surprise, a bright green trident glowed above Crystal's head. For the rest if the day I remained completely speechless.
