Borra Week, Day 7: Moonlight

This was an unexpected bonus of dating a waterbender. There was something about the full moon that just brought her to life and made her glow. She was beautiful all the time of course, but under the full moon it seemed like she wasn't even a mortal creature. She was some luminous spirit that danced on the water's surface and flowed like the waves. He knew how much she loved the her native element, but on these nights it almost seemed like she was made of water herself. He made a point of walking out to the bay with her on the nights when the moon hung heavy and full in the sky. He'd hang back as she walked the water's edge, and the waves would come swirl around her feet like heartsick lovers. When she raised her hand to bend the water it was as if the ocean sighed with longing, and he sighed along with it.
