If there was anything strange about tonight, it was the mere fact that it was dark outside. It's not very often for me to encounter the sky to be completely wiped out in Naples, Texas. It was rather strange.
I let my eyes glance over at the house filled with the new tenants, lowering my head down to get some sight into the only light flickering throughout the house.
I waited and waited to see if anyone there felt as strange as I did, but as time passed by and the light kept flickering it's small omniscient, I sighed in complete dissatisfaction.
You would only think.
I lifted my linens even further apart, squinting my eyes to spot anyone around the street. There was nothing abnormal at all; the Hale's had their front door open, like usual, Tanya's house looked as if it was shaking and the current pathway leading to our neighborhood still looked like someone died on it.
Before I decided to retreat back to my 'Pride and Prejudice', I felt myself burn under my cheeks when I noticed two eyes look at me in complete—astonishment, the least bit utterly appropriate.
I didn't have to look twice to realize that those were Edward Cullen's eyes.
I gave another sheepish look at the scenery before I let the curtains fall back into place.
That was definitely eerie.
As I dimmed the light in my room, I angled myself into my bed, tossing my head back in complete embarrassment.
I've encountered every possible crap that a human being could possibly encounter their entire life so it wasn't very frequent for me to get uncomfortable.
Tonight was no different. It was just Edward Cullen. Edward Cullen with his pistachio scent and his trimmed peanut-colored locks—it was inevitable to not ignore him—completely impossible. The guy was everywhere.
Everywhere.
I could have cussed his damn face and have called it a night and just retracted back to my life. But that wasn't going to happen anytime soon because you probably guessed it by now—Edward Cullen is my brother-in-law, and I was completely and utterly enamored by him.
