Title: Darkness Surrounding
Original: KHII Yay!
Disclaimer: Dude, I really don't think a retard sitting on her laptop is going to own the rights to a popular video game.
Warnings: Er...A psycho Riku and a whole lot of notmakingsense-ness
Pairings: Noooone. 'Cause I suck at fluff!

Sometimes Sora could find him sitting in the pitch dark all alone. He would be wearing the blindfold and grinning like he knew a dirty secret. And Sora was sure he did somehow; something about him or the darkness or the Worlds. Because Riku was smart and nothing could be hidden from him.

He would be wearing the blindfold, fighting imaginary foes while he grinned and cried. But he didn't cry tears because Riku never shed a tear. So instead he would cry blood; he would cry lots and lots of blood to make up for all the tears he had never and would never cry. And Sora would let him as he watched because sometimes he wished he could cry too.

For hours he would sit there, watching Riku fight all the imaginary Heartless that were still inside of him. The first time he was scared, the second he was awed, and the third he realized that he loved those graceful swoops and maddening steps. They were like an insane dance that no one was supposed to see; but he had been allowed and that was what made every step and arch and blow even more beautiful to him. Even when he was able to see bits of Riku's imaginary Darkness being cut through.

Sora would go to him every night, when he knew Riku was restless, just to watch him. And sometimes he would use the wooden Keyblade he had made to help him fight. Even if he was useless because the original had left him long ago. Soon, Sora could find him battling every waking moment, catching him every morning in The Secret Place from dawn until dusk. So he stayed with him, sitting there for days on end as Riku fought and cried and bled. And when Riku got weak he would help him again and he could hear Riku smiling as they battled back to back in this never-ending dance.

Sora asked him one night, when there was a lull and Riku had stopped crying and fighting and dancing, he asked him why there was so much Darkness to be fought. Riku just smiled like he did when they danced back to back and said, "It's because I AM Darkness."

He gasped, sitting up in bed and for the first time in a long time he wept as he let the Darkness take him.
