Once Upon A Time
Despite the name, this has NOTHING to do with my other 2 drabbles. Like them, this is a oneshot, and it's (heavily) implied Kish/Ichigo. There's also some implied Tart/Pudding and Pai/Lettuce.
Ichigo will do the disclaimer today: Daughter of Horus doesn't own me or anyone else, nya!

You want to hear a bedtime story? Very well, my child. I will tell you one of the great legends of our people. Are you listening?
Once upon a time, there was a city called Tokyo. And in that city, there lived a girl--a princess--and her friends. The Princess was in love with a kind and worthy prince, she had loyal and brave friends, and all was happy and bright.
And then the invaders from another world came. Their mission was to eradicate humanity and claim Earth for their own, as their own land was polluted beyond repair. To fight this grave threat, the princess and her companions used powerful magic to take the powers of animals, and the prince became a knight to protect his love.
Now, in most fairytales, the princess would defeat her enemies, she would marry her prince, and they would live happily ever after.
But this is not most fairytales.
The prince proved false. The enemy leader fell in love with the princess.
And (pay attention now, for this is most important) she began to love him back.
Now, you know what happened next, for it is written in the history books. But I will tell you anyway. The enemy leader married the girl, becoming a Prince in his own right, and took her and her companions back to his homeland, where they healed the land and its people. Two of the princesses' friends married two of the leader's companions. And (except for a few minor disagreements) they all lived together happily until the end of their days.
True stories never have an end, or a beginning for that matter. But it is getting late, and you should be asleep. After all, tomorrow is your birthday, where you will be crowned. Goodnight, Princess Ichigo XVI, heir to the Momomiya dynasty!
