Summary: One boy and one girl come together in an instant.
Chapter One: The beginning.
A blonde haired blue eyed girl sat upon her lavish bed that was covered in an orange comforter. The girl had a leather bound journal on her lap and was staring at a picture that was glued on one of the pages. The picture was of a blonde man in a holding a petite pregnant brunette. The girl ran her fingers over the picture. She turned the page and began to read the story of this coupleā¦
It was the night of Romeo and Juliet and Tristan wasn't there and they were going on in thirty minutes. Paris paced back and forth driving Rory crazy.
"Calm down Paris, he will be here." Rory tried to reassure both Paris and herself.
"This is just like him, such an arrogant ass. I do not want this project to be screwed up because he wanted to ditch us."
As she began to rant even more, a quiet "tsk, tsk" was heard from the doorway. A blonde in black pants and a dark blue polo adorned a smirk upon his face as he stood in the doorway.
"You have no faith in me what so ever? I would never ditch this project, only cause of Mary though." His smirk was now targeted at the brunette. "Did you doubt me too Mare?"
She glared at him in response. "You are egotistical, you know that right?"
"I view myself as self assured thank you very much." He approached her and reached out to her. "You are mine tonight Mary, you are my Juliet." His fingers brushed her cheek.
Rory's cheeks became red under his fingers, but those fingers left her face in an instant as a tall farmer looking boy had punched the blonde.
"Dean, what do you think you're doing? Why did you punch him, he did nothing wrong?" She rushed over and knelt down next to her Romeo.
"He did nothing wrong? He was stroking your cheek and you let him! You are my girlfriend, not his." He grabbed her arm and attempted to pull her away from his rival.
"Let go of me Dean, I am not your possession. You cannot control me like one. I am sick and tired of you controlling me. We are done. I have a play to perform so goodbye Dean." With that Paris helped Rory to get Tristan ready to be Romeo.

After the play was over Rory was backstage collecting her belongs and she heard someone approach her.
"So I take it things with Bag Boy didn't work out like you wanted them to huh Mary?" Tristan taunted her wearing both a smirk and a black eye.
"I did not want to be controlled by him, and my name is RORY! How many times do I have to tell you my name?" She turned to walk away but he grabbed her arm and brought her close to him and he whispered in her ear.
"I know your name Rory, and thank you for standing up for me against him, like I needed it but I thank you." He lightly kissed her cheek and truly smiled for the first time as he looked at her and he turned to leave.
"Tristan, wait."
He turned around, the smile still on his face. "What?"
"About what I said before, I do not hate you; I actually think you are a pretty decent guy, even if you are a pompous asshole."
His smile turned into his trademark smirk and he became the old Tristan everyone knew. "Back at you Mary." With that he turned and left her alone in the darkness of the backstage of the auditorium.
Rory slid to the floor and held her head in her hands. What did I just do, do I like Tristan, does he like me, and I am so confused. And how am I going to tell my mom about Dean. All of these thoughts raced through her as she just sat there on the floor.
