Title: Snippets From Finals Week at Tellius High School

Notes: I've been planning a story with my brother for over a year. I'm not too confident in my writing abilities so most of it's never been written. However we have all the plot and characters worked out. This and the previous one (In the Lunchroom of Tellius High School) take place in a version of that story's world.
During finals week Soren inevitably becomes the most popular person Tellius High School. People who had made fun of him for his meticulous notes (Boyd) want to be his best friend.
The week before finals Ilyana's parents went grocery shopping and bough twice as much as normal.
Pre-finals week, Boyd made his entrance in the mornings filled to the brim with energy and ready to annoy the heck out of everyone. During finals week he arrives with such large bags under his eyes Ranulf can't resist asking, "Paper or plastic?"
The next day Ranulf is sporting a rather lovely bruise on his shoulder, and when asked about it he proudly tells the tale of his courageous battle to save the virtue of some young woman wandering around his house the night before and isn't it amazing how he escaped with only this bruise?
Ranulf has been known to exaggerate.
Elena makes it her mission to keep every student healthy during the week.
Ike considers wearing a paper bag over his head.
Gatrie is thankful for the hours his roommate stays up with him making sure he passes his classes.
Shinon helps because when Gatrie moved in with him, one of the conditions his parents set down was that should their son receive a failing grade in any of his classes, they reserved the right to bring him home.
Gatrie is unaware of this condition.
Sothe and Tormod co-organize a study group that specializes in obtaining the notes and tests from former THS students.
The groups benefactors include Oscar and Kieran. Oscar has yet to be informed of his benefactor status.
Jill and Mist plan a study session. They stay up into the wee hours of the morning watching Titanic.
Ike mocks them in his room while Soren attempts to quiz him on the French Revolution.
(The first time Ike saw Titanic he cried.)
Mia doesn't look like someone who would study, but this year she studies so hard her mom repeatedly asks her if she's feeling alright. She and Rhys have been flirting with the boundaries of teacher-student for a while, but he won't kiss her until she graduates.
Mia is determined to graduate.
Friday after school every student gathers in the entrance area, piles into as many cars as it takes, and heads over to the Tellius Tavern, where Naesala, the club owner, is waiting with his band and an effigy of the school in the form of cake that students can eat/destroy.
Zihark has but to mention the cake to Ilyana to get her into his car. Later he can't figure out if she enjoys smashing the cake more than eating it.
Serenaded by the Kilvas Krew, the students of Tellius High School suppress the knowledge that they have to do it all again next semester.
