Matthew walked towards the person he loved the most.

"Hi Gil, I know I saw you yesterday but I felt like it wasn't enough."

He was met with only silence and sighed.

"You know, I really love you. You're the most incredible person I've ever met and that's never going to change, no matter what," he cleared his throat and focused on the man in front of him.

"I can still remember how we met, don't you? My car broke down two miles away from home and you casually passed bye and offered me help. I felt like I was going to get raped or something, but then you smiled so bright I just had to say yes. We talked all the way back to London. You told me how you wanted to become a writer, and I remember being shocked since you didn't look like type that would write. Too loud for your own sake, so reckless and outgoing. But I still love you. And I loved you back then, even if I wasn't aware of my feelings for you in that moment. I guess they were always there."

Matthew had mixed feelings about this. The sun above was shining. It didn't seem right to him.

"From there it just... clicked. Like in a bad romance movie. You were suddenly the world to me, you still are, I wouldn't be here if you weren't. I have not regrets at loving you. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me Gil. And you know, I had this whole speech for you. I've even written it, I have it right now in the pocket that's in the back of my jeans, but I guess it's useless now."

The Canadian felt tears streaming down his face.

"I can't believe this, I don't want to. You can't be gone Gil. We were supposed to get married, we were supposed to have children, two because you didn't want one child 'cause you though he or she would feel alone. We were supposed to travel all around the world."

The blonde boy felt a lump on his throat.

"We were supposed to be happy. But then some drunk asshole decided to take it all from us. For God's sake Gilbert, he took you away from me. From all of us." He stuttered at the end of his speech, feeling defeated and falling to his knees.

Right in front of him was a black gravestone.

"Gilbert Beilschmidt

18/01/1994 - 07/08/2017

Loved son, brother and partner

You will be missed."

"I won't forget you Gil, never. You'll always be my one and only. I love you sweetie. Forever."

Matthew sobbed for some minutes that seemed like hours. Life felt like an eternity since Gilbert was gone.

The Canadian then stood up, and left one white rose over the gravestone along with the engagement ring he had planned on giving the Prussian before the accident.

He left, and as he did red eyes watched him from above, tears running down a pale face belonging to a man with white hair.

"Forever, mein liebe."

--o--

Okay so like, I'm PruCan trash lmao.

I had this on my mind for a while and I'm actually proud of how it turned out even though I find it kinda short but oh well.

Sorry if there are any mistakes, my English is not quite good enough yet lmao.

Thanks for reading!

¡Nos vemos!
