Dougie was away on vacation, and Danny was bored. He was also lonely, so he decided to go down to the pub to ease his loneliness. Hours passed, and he got completely wasted. When he finally stumbled out the door, he took a slutty girl home with him.
When they got inside, they were up the stairs in a hurry, making out in Danny's bedroom. They were so into it, neither of them noticed the sound of the door opening or keys hitting the counter. Dougie walked up the staircase to surprise his boyfriend. He had caught an earlier flight home just to be with him. He smiled to himself as he walked down the hall to their shared room. He heard a strange sound coming from the room, but didn't think too much of it. That was until he reached the door. "Danny I'm ho- What the hell?" he asked, taking in the view in front of him, heartbroken.
"Doug I...It's not what it looks like," Danny said desperately.
"Oh isn't it? You're cheating on me! and with a girl!" Dougie screamed at him, hot tears streaming down his once smiling face.
"No. Dougie please, just hear me out," Danny said, getting up from the bed and walking towards Dougie. Dougie ran down the stairs, grabbed his keys once again and expressed his hatred of Danny one last time before slamming the door in the brunette's face who was only inches away from catching up.
After he disappeared, Danny ran back upstairs, yelling at the woman. She left crying and confused. When she was gone, Danny called Doug. Not surprisingly, he didn't pick up. Instead, Dan left a voice mail, "Doug, it's not just you. It hurts me too. I was stupid, drunk, and I really missed you. Can we please talk? Please, I beg of you, meet me at The Brew in ten minutes. I love you," he pleaded, voice cracking on the last part, his emotions taking over.
When Dougie showed up at the coffee shop tn minutes later, he was met by Danny, who was holding a large bouquet of flowers. "Sh," Doug silenced him with his finger as he was about to speak. Dan nodded, closing his mouth. "I don't want to hear it," the blonde boy sighed. "I loved you Daniel. I loved you and you cheated."
