She saw an exotic chin to a pair of faded green eyes. So ancient. Something was floating on its surface. Something beautiful, something she missed – something that vanished in a snap of a finger.

Those antique eyes were filled with stars and constellations she never saw before. Maybe it's a form of knowledge she hadn't learn yet, or maybe it's just a madness exploded frequently, or maybe he's just a man who was loved by trouble. Whatever it was, she loved it. Really loved it. All those Daleks voices were annoying and all her homemade souffles were always burnt and she desperately wanted to get out of there, so she helped him, just because maybe there was a possibility to see all those stars she never knew, burning brightly in front of her eyes.

.

The Doctor found her with a surprised face.

Oswin didn't see his face. She was busy searching her suitcase. Happiness ate all her heart.

Then the Doctor said the fact that was too sharp her human heart was sliced open.

She even forgot the stars in the Doctor's eyes and stumbled into Dalek-y mind just because reality changed her into a Dalek. But then he plead with a desperate tone, pulled her out of the monster's mind.

He breathes her name like it was alive on his lips.

She mused for a second, watched the Doctor's ancient eyes darkened, looked tired with all wars and battles he fought.

Oswin tilted her head, noticed that he had wrinkles and that dimple on his cheeks. He also had a too modern haircut for his old face. And somehow, the Doctor's worth it.

So, she saved him.

She saved him because the Doctor was the only one who could remember her and she thought, being inside the Doctor's magical was enough to take her watching wonderful stars bursting its light.

Oswin grinned widely.

Run you, clever boy. And remember.

.

Oswin put her hair behind her ear and smiled widely.

Four hours later she would go with Alaska, see the universe independently with a nice crew and an amazing ship. She couldn't imagine what would happen next, but she was sure that it was going to be wonderful.

She leaned into the chair, letting out a relief sigh before a warm breath brushed against her ear. Her body was frozen stiff, but she had a strong feeling that person who was standing behind her was not a bad person. But who?

"Oswin Oswald, you are cool."

Oswin turned around, her eyes searching for the mysterious man who just complimented her with a crisp voice like souffles. Then she saw an exotic chin to a pair of faded green eyes. So ancient. Something was floating on its surface. Something beautiful, something she missed – something that vanished in a snap of a finger.

So was the one who whispered.
