The party
Byakuya POV:
Byakuya was not having a good day. he wished he could be at home with his paintings, but his sister had another idea. "Come on Nii-Sama, we are going to be late" said Rukia, Byakuya younger sister and the one who was dragging him to this mask ball. After she spoke, Byakuya came down in a black suit with a white undershirt and black tie. He was still not happy about having to go to the mask ball.
"Rukia why do I have to go to this mask ball again?" asked Byakuya not caring if Rukia knew he didn't want to go or not. "Because Nii-Sama, you can not spend all your time working on your paintings you need to go out and meet someone I am sure my sister would want that." said Rukia, who was wearing a light blue dress with stars decorating the bottom of the dress.
"Typical she must really want me to find someone." thought Byakuya as he took the mask from his sister, it was a silver crescent moon shaped mask. People said he was a night owl so it was no surprise that his sister chose this mask for him.
After he took the mask he followed his sister out to the car where her boyfriend Renji. Byakuya never understood what his sister saw in Renji but he made Rukia happy and that is all that mattered to him. "I wonder if I will find someone that makes me happy like that at the party".
When Byakuya, Rukia, and Renji got to the party they split up. Rukia and Renji went to dance, while Byakuya was trying to enjoy himself for his sister sake and the hope he might find someone. But after a while he couldn't find someone that held his interest.
"I know this would be a waste of time" muttered Byakuya, he hated that he wasted his time at this party. "Hey would you like some company" said a voice that sounded like music to him.
