I stare down at your quivering, pathetic body.

Your not so strong now.

Your skin is pale and although you remain muscularly built I know I can defeat you.

A smirk creases my face.

With sheer agility I stoop down to your level; something I never wished to do.

But today the moment feels so right.

Everything feels so sweet.

"Who is weak now?" I whisper.

Your eyes meet mine; the world freezes as we fix on one another.

Eventually you reply.

"You can't leave me like this."

My claws extent and I slowly drift the sharp razors across your fragile neck.

I can sense your fear; smell your trembling blood flowing in anticipation.

But I am careful not to damage you.

To cut you would mean to kill you.

You deserve a fate worse than death.

This is it.

"Why would I care for the demands of a mere mortal?" I ask.

This causes him to glare viciously.

His anger means nothing to me; I do not flinch.

"You know that I am not a mortal, I am your Father!" he bellows.

This remark hurts me.

My black veins surge with a surreal emotion that is scarcely present within me.

I hiss angrily and spit out the words with such venom.

"I have never called you Father! You ruined my eternity, you deserve all of this!"

My claws come ever so close to slitting him… fortunately I cool down.

He must be tortured.

The family stands a distance behind.

For once they remain silent.

They are unable to react to this.

No one can comprehend their present feelings; no one but me.

"Leave."

He looks at me as if not understanding.

"You intend for me to live out my time as a mortal?"

A nod answers his question.

I pull him to his feet and turn him around to face the destroyed city.

"You were once able to create this. You were once the Demon of Destruction."

He shivers as my icy cold hand tightens on his shoulder.

And then I push him forward.

"Walk. Take in your surroundings, savour the power you once had. Then go to the airport and board a plane to the other side of the world. Never look back. Never return."

He waits as if I was telling some sort of twisted joke, as if I'm am soon to welcome him back with open arms.

After several minutes of agonizing silence he looks away and walks.

Once he reaches a certain distance my body loosens and I calms.

My mouth opens to speak to my siblings but before I can I hear his faint voice.

"I'll be back Hsi Wu and I shall regain me power."

I turned to look at him again but he has continued to walk away.

Releasing a quiet laugh I then continued to smirk.

The infamous, villainous "I'll be back" line. As if he was a villain anymore.

For centuries he had made me feel unwanted, disgraceful and useless in every thing I did.

Now he was gone; banished again. Only this time there was no need for a chi spell or a portal.

A short story about Hsi Wu and his Father.

If you don't understand it please do tell.

I just didn't really want to write a full blown story.

Basically Hsi Wu hates his Dad who has now been transformed into a human which demons see as a fate worse than death itself. That is really the jist of it lol.
