I was reading this Japanese book and there was a story like this so yeah... I want this to happen to me. 3.3
"No umbrella?"
CeCe Jones turned around. She was wearing her favorite baby blue blouse with her good black jeans. She also had light blue flats and a dark blue jacket. She didn't want it to get wet. She saw her street-smart friend, Deuce Martinez, standing there with his clear umbrella. He had on his usual style of clothes. Hoodie, leather jacket, ripped jeans, and sneakers.
"Yeah, I forgot it at home."
"Where's Rocky?"
Rocky Blue is her best friend in the world.
"She has this tutoring thing. She signed up, thinking she was tutoring kids at lunch, not after school."
"Want me to walk you home?"
"Uhm... Sure..."
Deuce opened his umbrella and motioned her to stand under it. She sheepishly stepped over, never being this close to Deuce, since it was an one-person umbrella. They started heading to the Jone's apartment.
"Why'd you buy this umbrella?" CeCe asked after an ackward moment of silence.
"Because. I like to pretend I'm in the rain but don't get wet."
"I used to love doing that!"
There was another moment of silence. Then, they stopped in front of the apartment building.
"Thank you so much Deuce! I owe you."
"It's alright."
"Suddenly, CeCe leaned forward and kissed Deuce on the lips. He was startled.
"What was that for?"
"I've always wanted to meet my love under an umbrella in the rain."
