Miss Independent

Luffy has been listening to the radio.

"Miss Independent! Miss Self-sufficient! Miss Keep-yo-distance. . . ."

Zoro cracked an eyelid at the high-pitched voice. What was going on and why couldn't it wait until after he was done napping?

"Miss Got-it-hard! Miss Play-it-smart! Miss If-you-wanna-use-that-line-you-better-not-start! Ooh oh ooh oh!"

Zoro's eyes widened as Luffy danced into the room, belting out a song at the top of his lungs. "Miss On-her-own! Miss On-her-phone! Miss Never-let-a-man-help-her-off-her-throne!"

"Luffy, what the-?"

"Oh, hi, Zoro!" Luffy waltzed over and sat down at Zoro's side. "They played a new song on the radio. I like it, so I'm going to sing it a lot and make it my theme song."

"Why would you want to make that your theme song? It's about a woman, for one thing, and it's also about not needing a boyfriend."

"Oh. Then I guess I should choose a new theme song. Sorry."

"Whatever."

"I better go find a song about being Zoro's boyfriend. Bye!"

Zoro blinked. "What the-?" He watched as the younger boy ran off.

Zoro's boyfriend, huh? Whatever.

It was something he could easily learn to live with.
