"Harry! Ron! You were amazing!" Hermione cried. She ran up to Harry and gave him a bone crushing hug, then turned to Ron. She hugged him more gently and held onto him longer than was intended. She felt the warmth of his muscular body comforting as the cold rain poured down over the quidditch stadium.
"Hermione! Let's go into the shelter over there!" Harry yelled over the thunder. She then let go of Ron and ran over to where Harry was pointing.

As they went inside the shelter it started to hail.
"We won't be able to go out there until the storm has died down. We will fr-fr-freeze!" Hermione stuttered, already feeling cold from the weathers wrath. Harry went to go find somewhere warm for them to sit, while Ron ran over to Hermione, to keep her warm. Once again Hermione was entranced by his body being so intimately close to hers. Once Harry had found a place to rest, Ron and Hermione sat down. Harry passed each of them a blanket. Even though Hermione was already being warmed up by the blanket surrounding her slim body, she still felt the urge to hold onto Ron some more.

After a few minutes, she fell asleep. She woke up to the sound of birds cooing outside and the whomping willow groaning far off in the grounds.
"Oh Merlin! We slept here all night! I've got so much work to do!" Hermione fretted.
"Calm down Hermione!" Ron mumbled sleepily, lifting his head from Hermione's chest. He then promptly rested his head back on her chest and fell asleep again.
"Hermione?" Harry inquired, now being fully awake from Hermione yelling.
"Yes Harry?" Hermione asked.
"Did you know that you were talking in you sleep last night? Ron and I got hardly any sleep at all!" Harry informed her with a big grin on his face.
"Oh?" Hermione asked, somewhat confused by Harry's facial expression.
"Well…. You said something like 'Ron, Ron, Ron, I need you, I want you now'!" Harry replied, with an even wider grin.
"WHAT!" Hermione cried and started to panic.
"Hermione calm down! I was joking!" Harry laughed, "But seriously, when are you going to tell Ron that you like him? I mean, I could see it a mile off. I'm surprised Ron hasn't caught on by now."
Hermione thought about this for a second. What would Ron think? Did he like her back? Would this ruin their friendship?
"What are you guys talking about?" Ron asked groggily, slowly sitting up.
"Nothing," Hermione replied, a bit too quickly. Ron sat there for a moment, considering this. Then he leant over and kissed her softly on the lips. Hermione felt like she was in heaven. Ron pulled away and looked at her.
"Hermione, I really like you." Ron confidently stated.
"I like you too….no, I love you." Hermione replied nervously.
"I love you too. I just didn't think you felt the same way." Ron said thoughtfully.
"Neither did I!" They both sat there, looking at each other for a moment.
"Oh God! Bring me a bucket!" Harry howled, bringing their attention away from each other and back to him.
"Sorry Harry." Hermione muttered. Then they all started laughing.
As Hermione walked back to the common room, with Ron holding her hand, she thought to herself, "I really should stay back late from Quidditch games more often!

Notes: This story just popped into my head, just a whole lot of fluff and ron/hermione goodness.
