WOW this is even shorter than I thought it was. Anyway, if anyone wants to take any of these ideas and run with them, PLEASE DO! It's short because I wanted to execute the idea, but couldn't think of more than a little blurb thing for each of the lines to GL's chant.

John Stewart raised a hand to shield his eyes from the burning sun. He almost wished for his trusty sunglasses, but those were a part of his civilian attire. Nevertheless, he reflected, it would be problematic if an enemy were to cach him off guard simply because of some sun in hyis eyes…there. He smiled. Having a ring that could create anything sure came in handy sometimes.
In darkest night…
The impromptu sunglasses were long gone, having vanished with the sun that had prompted their creation. In their place was a green flashlight. Lantern wasn't entirely sure why he was using one—after all, the ring provided enough light on its own.
No evil shall escape my sight!
He paused in his earch for the escaped criminal. Was that…? There! A muffled curse and the sounds of a hurried dash trhoiugh a cluttered alley informed him that the chase was on again.

Deep in her underground lair, Talia worked long into the night, trying to perfect a spell that would conjure a great beast, a demon capable of devouring Lex, the League, and anyone else who dared barr her path. Yet at the same time, she had to make sure it would obey her—she didn't want a repeat of the Doomsday incident.

The unknown villain scoffed. "You plan to defeat me with a ring?"
Seconds later, Green Lantern emerged from the scuffle victorious.
"It's a really good ring."

Why was he using a flashlight? (I couldn't think of a reason.) Which criminal was he chasing? You decide! All I ask is that you let me know if you expand on these, cuz I wanna read it. ^_^
