The Legend of Zelda: Link and the Crossword Puzzle
disclaimer: I have not, do not, and probably will never own the Legend of Zelda or Nintendo(no matter how much I wish I do...)
This is my first ever fan fic, so I hope you all like it(if anyone ever reads it, that is.) Well anyway, here it is!
"Argh I can't figure this stupid crossword puzzle out!" shouted a frustrated Link(who by the way can actually speak in sentences in this fic)
"Let me see it" said Navi.
"Sure, it's all your's." said Link, finally fed up with the evil piece of paper after a full forty-two and a half ours and...twelve seconds. About three minutes later, when Link was finally calmed down, he decided to go take a nap.
"done!" Navi said, so unexpectedly that it made him jump and literally hit his head on the ceiling.
"What! How can you be done after three minutes!? I couldn't figure out one word in forty-two ours and twelve seconds!"
"How couldn't you find any words in a three word crossword puzzle about the Triforce!?!"
"Hey, they were very bad hints!" Link said resentfully
"The thing asked you to name what each third of the Triforce represents!"
"And they would be...what?" said a truly dense Link.
"...you can't be serious..." said a totally stunned Navi.
"Did I stutter?" said Link.
"The three sections of the Triforce " Navi said slowly "stand for strength, wisdom, and courage."
"Well when you put it that way!" said a hurt sounding Link
"...I think I like it better when you don't talk..." said Navi.
