Bella looked at Edward and Jacob and said "I've decided which of you I'm going to be with" in a calm voice.
Edward was worried, very, very, worried. Bella could choose Jacob over him and then he would have to kidnap her and then she wouldn't like him as much so he would have to force her into everything that he wanted them to do together, he hoped that she would pick him, then he could finally kill that mutt for daring to try to steal his girl.

Bella wasn't really worried at all. She knew that her boys loved her enough that they wouldn't dare to try to dispute her decision. She would, of course, have to be transformed into a vampire soon, since she was the only one here that wasn't immortal now.
" I pick both of you" she finally said "I've researched it on the internet and I can't let go of either of you, Edward I would like for you to change me today and then we can love each other forever" she glanced pointedly at each of them at the end.
Edward certainly didn't expect for this to happen but he decided that this was as good as he was going to get. At least he got to have her half the time for eternity, that was a pretty good deal in his mind.
Jacob wasn't exactly very happy with this turn of events but he guessed that getting half of an eternity with Bella was going to be pretty good,even if she was going to be a vampire, she would be the only pure and good leach in the history of vampkind.
And so they all lived happily ever up until 4,817 when Jacob finally snaped and tried to kill Edward they killed each other and Bella killed herself by exposing the entire vampire race to human kind, the Volturi subsequently killed her.
