"No, no, no," Hermione tells Ron, yanking him away from Zonko's Joke Shop. "You too, Harry," she sternly adds to the boy with the lightning scar. Harry strays away from the joke shop and follows the two down the snow covered path of Hogsmeade.
"Hermione," Ron whines. "That store is the only chance I have for finding something that Fred and George will actually like."
"It's a Christmas present, Ronald, I'm sure they'll like whatever you get them. How about a nice book?" Hermione suggests. "They have Quidditch books at Tomes and Scrolls. I think they'd rather like Quidditch Through the Ages."
"A book?" Ron asks incredulously. "You can't be serious."
"Harry liked Quidditch Through the Ages, right Harry?"
"Oh, er, yeah. Loved it," Harry answers.
"We're talking about Fred and George here," Ron states flatly. "They aren't going to like a bloody book!"
"Well, what do you think, Harry?"
"Well," Harry begins awkwardly, running a hand through his unmanageable hair. "It is Fred and George we're talking about. They'd probably rather have something from Zonko's," he tentatively responds.
"Fine, enable the tricks and schemes that will probably get them expelled!" Hermione replies in a frustrated huff.
"They'll still play pranks regardless," Ron mutters to Harry. "I don't want to buy them a book because I reckon they'll beat me with it." Harry can't help but grin as he and Ron begin to discuss whether or not to buy the twins dungbombs, acid pops, or belch powder, much to Hermione's discord. But, Hermione simply sighs and follows the two into Zonko's, letting her disagreements subside.
