Arms Wide Open

Author Note: I'm back!!!!!!!! I have been going through a long stream of writer's block, and I have been really busy! I haven't really been able to review that many stories, but if you review mine, I'll review yours. Sound fair? And please no flames!
Well I just heard the news today
It seems my life is going to change
I closed my eyes, begin to pray
Then tears of joy stream down my face
Luke Skywalker rushed to the Med Center of Courusant. Mara was there with their new born son. Luke was excited, scared and happy. He ran to the room with the name Jade Skywalker on it.
With arms wide open
Under the sunlight
Welcome to this place
I'll show you everything
He opened the door where Mara sat in a bed with a little bundle in her arms. She looked up at him and smiled. He went straight towards her. No words were passed, but they could tell each other's emotions with their eyes.
With arms wide open
Well I don't know if I'm ready
To be the man I have to be
I'll take a breath, take her by my side
He softly kissed his wife's lips. And looked at her and the tiny baby in her arms. He had blue eyes, and blond hair just like him.
We stand in awe, we've created life
With arms wide open
Under the sunlight
Welcome to this place
"Do you want to hold him?" Mara asked. He nodded. She carefully put the child in Luke's arms. The baby's eyes opened and looked at his father.
I'll show you everything
With arms wide open
Now everything has changed
I'll show you love
This small little child was what he and Mara created, out their love. "Have you named him yet?" Luke
questioned. "Yes," Mara told him. "His name is Ben Jade Skywalker"

With arms wide open
If I had just one wish
Only one demand
Luke smiled at her, and then the baby. He could feel the force flowing through Ben. He was very strong. He would make a wonderful Jedi.
I hope he's not like me
I hope he understands
That he can take this life
And hold it by the hand
Or maybe he won't be a Jedi Knight. He had his whole life in front of him.
And he can greet the world With arms wide open...
