Fate Part 4
***Sorry this chapter is so short.***
"Isn't she beautiful?" Ezra says into the camera.
Shelby sees Ezra trying to hide behind the tree and starts to walk toward him. Ezra sees her and quickly turns off the tape.
"What do you think you're doing?"
Ezra quickly scans his brain for an excuse. "I was, uh, taping the scenery."
Shelby looks skeptical. "It looked like you were taping me."
"No, you just happened to get in the way, that's all."
"Whatever," she says not totally believing him. "So, how are you holding up?"
"Holding up?"
"You know, Daisy."
"Oh that! I'm fine with it."
"You are?"
"Yeah, Shelby. I'm completely over her now."
"I really don't understand you sometimes," she sighs walking away.
Ezra just breathes a sigh of relief. He had almost gotten caught taping Shelby by Shelby himself! He would have to use more caution in the future.

"There she is again with that guy she likes to hang out with," Ezra says to the camera referring to Scott. He is up on the balcony in the lodge taping Shelby below.
"How's the movie coming?"
Ezra whips around nearly dropping his camera. "Uh, it's coming good!" he says to Daisy.
"Are you trying to tape Shelby or something?"
"Noooo. I'm taping the lodge."
"Oh."
"How's your movie coming along?"
"It's not," she says and sits on the floor next to him. "Me and David can't decide on an idea. He still hoping we can blow up a car."
Ezra laughs. "You'll think of something soon."
"I sure hope so."

"And there's Shelby again, diligently working on her homework. Look at the grace as she glides her pen across her paper. What perfection." Ezra zooms in on Shelby as she writes in a notebook while sitting outside on one of the picnic benches.
"Does Shelby know you're taping her?"
Ezra shuts off his camera as Kat sits down on the bench next to him.
"I wasn't taping Shelby."
"Well, it sure looked like you were."
"Ok, fine. I wasn't just taping Shelby. I'm taping the whole area. Shelby just happened to be sitting at that bench."
"What is your movie on anyway?"
"Sorry, it's Top Secret. You?"
"Well, I figured since I'm going to be leaving soon, I'd do a sort of tribute to Horizon."
"You think you'll be ok when you leave?"
"I sure hope so. It'll be a big change."

Ezra falls asleep this night with a cheesy grin on his face. He's happy he's got so much of his movie taped already. Shelby was easy to tape. Now he just had to find a more discreet way to do it. He can't risk having anyone else figure out what he is doing.
