AN: I've been kicking around an idea for a story. Let me know what you think. BTW, I own nothing except for the OC. Everything else belongs to Ms. Harris and Mr. Ball.
Tess walked in the room and froze. Tears immediately filled her eyes. She knew Eric had feelings for Sookie but, in her heart, she believed he was faithful. The scene before her emotionally ripped her heart out. Sookie laying on Eric's desk. Eric on his knees between her legs. She knew he hadn't been fulfilled by their sex life. She had issues and she knew it. He promised to be patient and help her work through her problems. He promised to teach her things. He promised he wasn't like other men. He convinced her that it was safe to open her heart to him. He broke her resolve to create a life of solitude. The moment she met Sookie, she knew her life was going to be turned upside down. How could this one woman have so much power over her husband. It was as if he was a cat and she was the catnip. Still, after 1000 years, Eric had met plenty of women who he was attracted too. Why was he not able to resist her? As she stood there, all the hopes and dreams she allowed herself to build for them seemed to flee her body with one single tear.
"Our marriage is over" was all she managed to whisper. Eric wouldn't have heard her if it wasn't for his vamp hearing. By the time she managed to turn to leave the room, Eric was in front of her with agony in his eyes. She felt him poking in her brain. She tried to break his glaze, but it was too late.
"Tess" he said with solemnly "My love, you came here tonight. We talked about Italy. We decided to take a vacation. Just the two of us. You went home to do some research". With that he kissed her on her forehead and opened the door.
"I love you" he whispered with all the passion he could muster.
"I love you, too. I can't wait for vacation". She walked away none the wiser to the changes that were about to take place in her life.
So, what do you think? Should I continue? Should I make it a full story? This is my first fanfic, so please be gentle Thanks for reading!
