Chapter One
Free Falling From One Thousand Feet
A/N: This first chapter is a songfic(my first songfic) to the actual song Don't Panic by Cold Play.
Oh we're sinking like stones, all that we fought for,
Aang fell, his hand reaching for the scarred hand of his long time friend
All these places we've gone, all of us are done for
His hand fell short of hers and he plummeted down towards the seemingly bottomless pit.
We live in a beautiful world, yeah we do, yeah we do
Suddenly his surroundings changed from the streaked haze to gorgeous flowers blooming around him.
We live in a beautiful world, Oh we're sinking like stones
As soon as the flowers appeared, they were gone and replaced once more with a streaked haze of falling from what was most likely over one thousand feet.
All that we fought for, all these places we've gone
Aang continued to fall, unknowing that his friend was continuing the fight he had started
All of us are done for
And there she was, falling from the cliff just as he was only much faster then him.

Aang reached for her hand, once more falling short and the streaked haze turned into flowers and the fall seemed to slow.
Oh, all that I know, there's nothing here to run from
He noticed that she had also slowed down and he reached for her wrist and grasped it in his hands, but she slipped from his hands.
Then the flowers turned to streaks once more and she plummeted, hitting the ground and Aang was left floating, only to stare.
His eyes shot open and he took a deep breath. Only a dream, it was only a dream, He thought to himself. He reached for his cell phone and hit speed dial one.
"Hello? Twinkle toes? You better have a good reason for calling me at three o' clock in the morning!" Toph yelled into her phone at him.
And there, everybody here's got somebody to lean on.
