A/N The Ultimate Showdown is still in production. Expect the first chapter to be up sometime this weekend. I decided to write this because I needed something to do for study hall. This is from an Audinos POV in Giant Chasm.

"Aud…" Audino yawned. It was a Tuesday afternoon, and after the day she had, she deserved to be tired!

Her day started off just like all the others. She awoke as the Mamoswines were eating the patch of grass she was sleeping in. "Audino!" she yelled, waving her arms. The Mamoswines took no notice, and continued to graze. She then fired a beam, but it did little more than to make them blink. "Aud…" she sighed, as she walked off. 'Looks like it's going to be another new home tonight.' she thought. Why couldn't she just be friends with the Mamoswine? But no…all anyone saw her as was an expendable pawn…

She ate some berries she found, and began preparing her new home. She tried making it in some of the shorter grass, as the Mamoswine didn't tend to graze there. As she was busy bustling around, gathering twigs and leafs for her new home, she heard something in a language she didn't understand. It sounded as if whoever it was, was giving commands to something. She turned around, only to be hit square in the chest by a tiny Machop. "Aud!" she exclaimed. 'What was that?' she thought, and then she saw them. A human, not much taller than herself, was giving commands to a Machop. 'Maybe I can be friends with these new people!' she thought excitedly. She fired off a healing pulse as a sign of peace toward the Machop. Machop seemed to hesitate for a moment, but attacked her again anyways. 'Wow, you're so strong!' Audino said with a cry, and she saw a look of question come over Machops face. It was as if he were asking why Audino was being so nice. However, she didn't see anymore, as she fell over and fainted.

She awoke several hours later and started crying. 'Why am I hated so much? Why does everyone I meet hit me?' She cried for several more hours.

"Aud…"Audino yawned. It was a Tuesday afternoon, and after the day she had, she deserved to be tired! She knew tomorrow would bring a new day though, and that with each rising sun, there is a new opportunity. 'Maybe tomorrow will be the day I find love! Who am I kidding?' she thought. 'No one will ever love me….' With that, Audino cried herself to sleep.

A/N Please review, as always. Shorter than I thought, but I like this story, because it reminds me of myself, in a way. Always trying to find love, but instead, I always get used.
