Captide: A Love Story
A/N: I've wanted to write this for awhile, but I was just given the little push I needed by LongLastingDreams. So yeah, here I go, about to write down the greatest lover story never-told. *sniff* I think I'm about to cry…
So yeah, enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own PJO.
First Meeting:
Him:
She was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. She looked like she belonged on an Angel.
Her:
He was so shiny, so ripped, so handsome, and shiny. When I saw him, I knew we might be together forever.
Him:
I looked at her, and I said hello. She blushed, and smiled back at me, and that was when I knew she shared my feelings. She looked almost like she wanted to say something back at me, but then she was gone. Out of my site. She just disappeared, as if she was invisible.
Her:
He told me I was beautiful. No, actually, he said hello, and the rest was implied. I wanted to sit and stare at him forever, but Annabeth tore me away from his sight, and I didn't see him again until we did battle.
Him:
Running through the trees. It was the most exhilarating experience of my life, ripping, cutting, slicing, killing whatever stood in my way. It was glorious, beautiful, with the sun glinting off of my silver skin. I scanned the forest for any sort of glimpse of the girl I knew I was going to marry some day. I could not find her.
Her:
Quietly, no one could see me, but I could see all. I snuck behind the boy who held my true love. I stared, and for the first time saw the inside, as well as the outside. My love had silver looks, but a heart of imperial gold. I wished nothing more than for my love to see me as I saw him! He was so brave, as he sliced through the trees and stole the flag away. I knew that no matter what happened, I would allow him to find me, and we would be together forever.
Wedding Day:
Him:
There she was, walking toward me down the isle. Hidden in the back pocket of the girl who owned her, as I hid in the back pocket of my best friend.
Her:
He could see me peeking out of my hiding, and I could barely make out his head, cap glinting. I could hardly wait. After all we'd been through together, the day was finally here.
Him:
She looked just as beautiful then as she did the day I met her. Fifteen years had passes since then, as well as two separate wars and worlds colliding. People come and go in a weapons life, but I knew that I needed Annabeth's Cap to stay with me forever.
Her:
Annabeth approaches Percy, and I can make out Riptides voice saying to me, "Hello." The words sounded as magical as the day he first spoke them.
Him:
Me and Cap exchanged vows at the same time as Annabeth and Percy, and the crowd went wild.
Her:
He jumped out of Percy's pocket, and I followed his lead.
Him:
She jumped into my arms next. Then, she kissed me.
Her:
I kissed him. It was beautiful.
Him:
It was magical.
Both:
And our lives have never been the same since. Two objects, of one mind and heart. Annabeth's Cap, Percy's Sword Riptide, and all of our little deformed children. All fighting monsters. Together.
~~THE END!~~
A/N: Well… That was, umm… Odd. And kind of cute I guess…. Hope you enjoyed my little odd one-shot. It's short, I know, but it's quality not quantity that matters… (although I don't know how much of that I have either :P) Thanks guys! Review!
