Jude Harrison pouted and glared heavily at her reflection in a nearby window as she fluffed her light shoulder length blonde hair

"It has been two freaking weeks and I still can't get used to this hair of mine!".

"Hey it's cute!" a comforting voice whispered in her ear, his breath tickling her as strong arms encircled her waist pulling her closer to him.

Jude exhaled heavily, blowing up her fringe, as she sank back into his torso.

She had agonized over her choice

Whatever way she spun it, it was one single blunt choice:

Who's heart was she willing to break?

Jude dipped her head back slightly, resting it on his shoulder, as they walked hand in hand, looking up into his eyes, seeking solace, comfort in the fact that she had made the right choice.

He flashed her his lovely smile and squeezed her hand, unknowingly reassuring her, as he reached down and kissed her softly on the forehead.

The two most important guys in her life

The two guys she couldn't live without

She had to shatter one of their hearts

And make him hate her forever

Jude closed her eyes, just revelling in how happy she felt at that particular moment.

It was hard to believe it was just two short months ago that she was facing down the biggest decision of her life.

Her best friend, the guy who had always been there

When things took a turn for the worse

And when she got her heart broken

He was always there to pick up the pieces

And she had fallen in love with his goofy smile,

his endless music trivia and his innate ability to make her laugh

When everything else seemed to suck!

or

The guy she had been in love with since she was fifteen years old

Her musical guru

The guy who made her heart flutter with a single smoking look

The guy who no matter how many times he broke her heart

Always managed to make her fall for him again

With his piercing blue eyes

Handsome smile

And the whole other side of him

That only she got to see

Yeah she was faced with one bitch of a decision!

Who was she going to cut loose!

Who's dreams would she shatter

Who's heart would she blow to smithereens?

But she swallowed her guilt

Got up the courage

Threw caution to the wind

Ran hell for leather down that street

Knocked on that door

And with one sentence

"Okay let's do it … all of it"

Jude was shocked out of her trance by that random anecdote.

It was if he had peered into her head and plucked out what she was thinking

Jude looked up to Tommy Quincy's smirking face and sighed happily

"Shut it Quincy"

Decided her future
