Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who or any of the Characters, I mealy thought up the idea and story line of this particular Fanfic.
He was much older when I met him, or rather when he met me. When they used his genetic tissue in the Progenation Machine, and in turn created me. Little Jenny ready to fight a war, I never started or even knew much about. I learned so much that day of what it meant to be a Time Lady, and that's why I left Messaline after my regeneration was complete. I had to see the stars and make my dear old dad proud, I knew one day I would see him again even if he didn't remember me. After all there are so many Doctors in the universe, how can anyone be certain they find the one they are looking for.
When I at last found good old dad, he was much younger then I remembered with silver hair and week looking eyes. True to the untrained eye he may seem like an old man, but I know when I looked into his eyes just how young he really was. He didn't believe me at first claiming he never wanted to be married, and therefore would never have kids. I don't know just how he finely realized I was telling the truth, maybe it was my persistence or just how much of him I inherited. In any case he accepted me and took me back to Gallifrey with him, and I was finely able to see my true home planet.
Once I was settled in The House Lungbarrow in which was my birthright. I began seeing another time lord who seemed to really tickle my fancy, but before anything could have happened Dad got him self disowned from the house, in other words kicked out. Since I was only allowed to stay as long as he was there I was automatically kicked out as well. Luckily my beau, whom I had been calling Gabriel, gave us a home for how ever long we needed it, but Dad didn't like the idea much and soon whisked away across the universe once more.
When dear old dad came back from his trip I was able to introduce him to his granddaughter Arkytior, my little Rose. Gabriel thought I was crazy for naming the child such a name, but something deep down inside of me yarned for this name, a name that would live forever in my father's life. If she only stuck with it, that is.
Arkytior was only five years old and still much of a child, because she wasn't born of a loom or Progenation Machine, and rather my own body she aged as humans did. Grandfather placed the small child on his lap and started telling her of her heritage, and just who she really was.
"You are my Granddaughter" he said, "and one day when I am long gone, you will carry one my legacy"
Arkytior giggled, "really Grandfather?"
"Of course my dear"
I envied my own daughter much to my disgrace, she had all the powers of a Time Lady and I was only part of that heritage. She could regenerate, and I could not as my dad would find out some day in his future. It was strange how one little girl could bring us closer together then ever before. Arkytior grew into a lovely young girl, and when she was fifteen, Dad decided to take her out of the academy.
"What are you doing?" I asked as he began to pack her things.
"I'm taking her to see the world" he replied.
"She is my daughter, I think I have a say in this"
"She needs to learn what is out their, and the Academy can only teach her so much."
My little Rose looked at us with her big brown eyes and said, "I want to go mother, I want to go with Grandfather" I of course always knew this was possible, and knelt down to my daughter's gave and smiled.
"Very well, but keep an eye on the old man ok?"
She nodded and hugged me gently; I wouldn't see my darling daughter again. She'd rush of into the unknown with her Grandfather, and last I herd changed her beautiful name to Susan Forman, but to me she would always be my little Rose.
