Prologue- Cookies and Arrival
Darky the Hedgehog
My birthplace was the Sol Universe, yet, I haven't seen that world since the day I was born. Today, I shall go back, at least for a week, with some of my faithful friends and most importantly, save a universe that is slowly dying.
"Darky! Are we there yet?" a voice shrieked, obviously a female.
"No..." I sighed, staring out of the window of the ship. Stormy waters hit the boat with extreme force.
"Can I have a cookie than?"
"Hurricanne, you've had five since we set sail (and yes, Hurricane's female version in this story's name is spelled Hurricanne to avoid confusion with the other Hurricane). Don't you recall how long we've been sailing?"
Hurricanne nodded, smiling, "Yeah, we've been on the sea for a while!"
I shook my head, "Hurricanne, it's been TEN MINUTES!"
Hurricanne continued to grin, "I'm hungry."
Sometimes I wonder what makes even the darkest of females think they're actually cute when they do things like this.
"Hurricanne, what in the world gives you the mind to act like this?"
"Cookies, nipah~!"
Great, now she's making cutesy anime noises. Why won't she letup?
"Darky, there's a storm ahead...a dangerous storm!" Infernatte yelled from nearby.
The ship shook wildly.
"WHAT'S HAPPENING? DO I NEED TO USE THE CHAOS..." Hurricanne fell from the unstableness of the ground.
I bit my lip, That would have gotten us to another universe better than a ship. Why didn't I think of that?
"YES, USE YOUR DANG CHAOS CONTROL BEFORE I FEEL LIKE MORE OF A FOOL! EVERYONE, COME ON, GATHER AROUND HURRICANNE AND I!" I screamed over the loud thrashing of the ocean.
"Can I have a cookie first?" Hurricanne stared at me as everyone rushed to gather around us.
"As long as you don't ask again and save our lives, you fool!"
