Hero Of Olympus II Presents

Rick Riordan, Fan Fiction

Annabeth thought her day couldn't get any worse. And that was before she turned down a date with Percy. She had promised Sadie that she'll meet her at 3:00. She rushed to the subway, got off at Brooklyn and now was impatiently waiting for Sadie to come out from as she called it- Brooklyn House. "Hello!" Sadie scurried out of nowhere. "Where is your boyfriend?" "We're supposed to go on a date, but…" Annabeth didn't say anything. She took a few steps forward. "Hey watch-" Before Sadie could finish, Annabeth stepped right into a present, gifted to her from a cow. Annabeth took a deep breath. "HERA!" Sadie looked at her, as if she had just appeared out of thin air. "Goodness, girl, relax." She paused. "On second thought… Annabeth Chase! Bring your boyfriend right now! There's someone he has to meet. You know what, I'll teleport you…" She brought out her new staff (I broke the last one) " To come back, touch him! MARHABAAN!" Instantly, I appeared at percy's staring at his wide eyed expression with Estelle, his sister cradled in his arms while she drooled. "Oh…? Hey, Annabeth!" Percy gave me a smile. "Percy, give Estelle to your mom." I ordered. Instantly he did. Then I touched his hand. In a flash of light, we reappeared with Sadie. Beside her was a guy muscular and fit with a bunch of necklaces around his neck. "Hi, you guys look so cute together!' Sadie smirked. "And this is my boyfriend Walt and/or Anubis." Annabeth blinked. "Anubis as is the god…?" "Yes, now, let's get you two ready and let's talk!" Walt/Anubis began to speak. "My advice- when talking to sadie always come with a headrest, earmuffs and-" Sadie pushed him away. "Don't mind them. They cooperate amazingly, as well as they're annoying." "Them?... Never mind, forget I asked." Walt grunted. "Okay….." "Anyways," Sadie piped in. "I've been thinking, you know all of these different gods and stuff? Well I've been thinking, all of these half-immortal people meet…?" As she went on, Sadie's confidence seemed to go away. "Of course if you guys don't like it…" "Sadie. Sadie, Sadie. That's spectacular! And my cousin is a son of Frey, a Norse god, so we're all set. Suddenly Percy interrupted. "Guys? Why the heck did you bring me here if all I have to do is listen to your boring conversation?" Meanwhile, Sadie was still processing. "Your cousin is…" she blinked. "Right. Why not?" While Sadie was distracted, Annabeth's phone rung. On the other side she heard Rachel's voice. " Annabeth, are you with Percy?" "Yeah?" "I just had new prophecy!" Alarmed Annabeth grabbed Percy's arm and ran- straight to the nearest train station without bothering to talk to Sadie (a mistake). Finally she reached camp. "Rachel, what is it? What did you say?" Chiron stepped forward. "Annabeth, She said that… all immortals will have to join, their offspring and all to fight a war against an army of all of the enemies. A great evil has freed them… See, the prophecy went like this. '7 great heroes shall prevent the fall, of all great beings powerful or else. Great evil will be conquering all, for who has freed the worst of the vicious, the outdoors and magic, wisdom tying them alone. The offspring of darkness the final blow, one last, an outcast with blood of both ' Annabeth rubbed her forehead. Wisdom… Annabeth… Magic… Sadie and Carter. And the both… suddenly she knew. Alex. And the outdoors? Percy. Percy and Magnus Annabeth rushed to tell Chiron. All the way through he nodded. "That would make sense. But this seems too much like the prophecy of seven…" "That is true, but I have a feeling on this quest we're gonna go through harder things, our limit." "Yes, Annabeth. And you skipped your job today. Cabin Inspection Duty. Now go do it. Annabeth hurried and went to do inspection. For Zeus well, a 5 out of 5. Jason was neat. Poseidon? 3. Dirty laundry and bed not made. Of course that meant Tyson hadn't been visiting for awhile. Percy complained. "Hey, can't blame a guy for being a guy!" Next she went to Hades. "Pretty neat except for all of the old Mythomagic card scattered on the floor. Nico must be throwing them out… Annabeth thought. 4 / 5. Next she went to the Athena cabin. She would've given her cabin a 5 if the Aphrodite cabin came and started a pillow fight. There were feathers everywhere. 3 out of 5 for this mess. Then she went on, continuing. The Hermes cabin got a 2 and the Demeter cabin got a 5. The Aphrodite cabin got a 5 too, with them beingmall pretty and neat (although they trashed her cabin). She kept on going cabin by cabin till she was exhausted. Bzzz… Annabeth reached for her phone. Who is it? "Hey, world's cutest couple, it's Alex. We need to meet there's something you need to see…" Even though Alex acted cheerful, Annabeth could sense some worry in her voice. "Okay, be right there." Annabeth didn't hesitate and went straight to the Poseidon cabin. "Percy, Alex called." Percy frowned. "Something wrong with Magnus? Or is it just that Jack freaked out and started moaning he had to see Riptide again?" "I dunno" With that, they headed out to Magnus's place, The Chase Place which was a orphanage for younger kids. "Don't freak out, Percy." Annabeth said. When she saw Magnus, she freaked out. "MAGNUS!" Magnus was lying on the couch not moving. Alex tilted her head. "He's in the middle of a dream and he's talking. Something about all the good gods having to join together…" Suddenly the pendant around Magnus's neck stirred. Then it transformed. Literally. Into a sword. Jack. "Hey! Whatcha doin'- oh, man, Magnus is sleeping?" Jack suddenly sniffed the air. "Hey, you brought the hottie? Where is- you know what, I know. Jackson? The babe." Percy signed and reached into his pocket. He took out a ballpoint pen and uncapped it. It sprang to its full size- Riptide. Percy pit Riptide on a desk so Jack and Riptide could 'talk.' "Anyways, do you have any idea what he's talking about? I called you since he said all the gods. I thought it probably also meant the Greeks-" Annabeth interrupted. "And the Egyptian magicians." "Say what?" Annabeth started to explain but realized it was too long a story. Of course Magnus had to wake up in the middle of the conversation. "What up man!" Percy said slapping Magnus's back. "Hi…?" Magnus turned to me. "I had a dream-" "We know Magnus. We got a prophecy, and you were talking in your sleep." Magnus blinked and blushed, embarrassed. We continued to talk and Annabeth didn't realize that it was getting late. "Guys, I better go. See you tomorrow, at 12, morning?" Alex smirked. "If Magnus isn't still sleeping." "And," Percy cut in, "We got some people you should meet." and he glanced at me and I knew. The magicians. The siblings. "Bye!" I called. "Bye." And Annabeth and Percy headed off back to their camp. With Alex and Magnus looking at their backs
